GameRager: Supposedly yes D vitamins from sun exposure decrease cancer risk.....some hypothesize that lack of sun exposure due to sunscreen overuse/sitting inside alot for some can increase cancer risk.

So just go outside more, and wear lower(but not 0) SPF sunblock.

timppu: Where I live (about as far north as Anchorage in Alaska, albeit probably considerably warmer than in Anchorage), that is a good suggestion only from about May to early September, or so. Outside that, at least I take D-vitamin supplements daily.
Make sure you get good ones....and not crap. I read somewhere about not all calcium enriched sources being equal in food as certain calcium sources used in some of those foods was much harder for the body to absorb naturally/quickly than others. Same would go for other minerals/etc I expect. Also you have to watch those shady vitamin sellers.

"Fortunately" pharmacies here are heavily controlled by the state, so there's not much risk of that unless you go to buy online abroad. But then the customs may try to catch your pills, if I've understood right.

So I pay lots of extra for my supplements (from the local pharmacy), but I guess they are safe to use then.

Do they sell over the counter vitamins in Finland or do you need prescription.?

You can buy them in any pharmacy or almost any grocery store. You can also try and find a shady dealer in some back alley, but that's considerably harder :p

Lol just curious :P He said you buy them in pharmacy only like they were controlled or something. :\

No prescription needed for supplements or vitamins of course (even from pharmacy).

Vitamins are mostly sold in pharmacies, but somewhat also in groceries. E.g. vitamin D pills in groceries seem to come either in the form of "fish oil pills", or e.g. as a part of calcium tablets.

The strongest standalone vitamin D pills are apparently sold only in pharmacies. I buy 20 ug pills, which are probably the strongest that are sold here.

They are controlled, like pretty much everything you put in your mouth. A few years back, there was a nationwide scandal about some restaurant storing their vegetables in the wrong place or something. You can buy all kinds of supplementary pills in grocery stores, but I'd recommend the pharmacy ones (just because they seem to be more concerned about people's health).

I have 10 µg vitamin D pills from a pharmacy, micrograms, because eating 10 milligrams of vitamin D could probably give you heart problems or something.

Ok then. I was confused when he said he got his through fish oil pills. I have fish oil pills, but they're for Omega-3 fatty acids...1000 mg of omega-3

Anyone wanting Omega Oils can get most of these Omega Oils through the plant oil products of Udo Erasmus ( At least Omega 3, 6, 9 Oils : http://udoerasmus.com/products/oil_blend_en.htm ) :

http://www.udoerasmus.com/firstscreen.htm

http://www.udoschoice.co.uk/

The guy have more oil blends and products (sold worldwide)(?) , for seeing product list then just let mouse hover over the "Products" to the left and the list should unfold
or list here : http://udoerasmus.com/products/1_index_en.htm

For multilanguage site then please use "the frontdoor" : http://udoerasmus.com

P.S.
I know that "it's a tall order"/"a bit much to believe in" - and I am not even sure of if I myself believe in this or not, but the guy actually writes :

"Healing fats are required, together with other nutrients, to prevent and reverse so-called "incurable" degenerative diseases: heart disease, cancer, and Type II diabetes. Healing fats also help reverse arthritis, obesity, PMS, allergies, asthma, skin conditions, fatigue, yeast and fungal infections, addictions, certain types of mental illness, and many other conditions."
( http://udoerasmus.com/fatsmain.htm ) (It seems to be a reference from/to his book "Fats That Heal Fats That Kill" )

This computer I'm using has been acting up. It's only 4 months old, but last week it had 3 blue screens and some problems with booting. Then all of a sudden, it fixed itself. There was nothing out of the ordinary yesterday, but this morning it refused to boot. After some tweaking and kicking, I got it into Windows, got blue screen, tried again and it was stable enough (but slooow for the first 10 minutes, then it started working almost normally). Anyway, I shut down the computer since I was going out. Upon returning and trying to start up the computer, I it got stuck in the "Loading Asus Express Gate" phase, and on every subsequent attempt it refused to get even that far (and that's the first thing you see when booting).

So I took it all apart, found nothing out of the ordinary, and put it together again.

It made a funny sound the first time I powered it up, but it got to Windows. I rebooted just to see if it was a fluke, and now it's working again (for now, at least), but for some reason I cannot comprehend some programs and files have gone missing, most notably Blood and its saves (and Windows says my antivirus software isn't on, but the software itself says it is) :|

Now I'm paranoid that the computer may just break down any moment. Sadly I don't have any spare components to pinpoint the faulty hardware, assuming there's some. Maybe it's just some cosmic rays messing with me.

I'm going to reboot again in the name of science!
/edit: reboot was successful, and now Windows admits the antivirus software is on

Adzeth: ...
First thing I would do is carefully remove the RAM sticks, making sure to ground myself first, and clean the edge connectors with a pencil eraser. Re-insert the RAM sticks.

The second thing I would do, after cleaning the Ram, would be to right click the drive, click Properties, the Tools tab, in the Error checking section, press Check Now, check both options, when it says it can't check now do you want to schedule a check select yes and reboot. Allow the check to finish, it can take quite a while so do not interrupt the check once it starts.

If neither of these helps you have some serious diagnostics to perform . . . =)

Edit: the RAM may not even need cleaning just removal and reinsertion. Sometime during shipment the RAM and additional cards can be jarred enough to affect their connections. I would reinsert any cards while in there as well just to remove this as a potential cause for the issues you are having.

Could the problem be with the hard drive? Loss of data seems to point towards that, though I'm no expert..
Ahhhhh nothing is more infuriating then computer problems. I had a similar problem with my PC; the monitor would lose signal after working for a few minutes and I have to reboot to get it back. So I took the computer case apart, clear the dust out with a can of air and checked all my connection. Put the PC back under my desk turned it on and it work great for a few days. After that the same problem started happening again. So I repeated the cleaning and double checked all my connection again. This time I left it on my desk, turned it on and it worked great. I haven’t had any trouble since then. The thing I did different was leaving it on my desk. The computer has been running great for over 3 months now.

I guess it didn’t like being on the floor.
