500+ deals up to 90% off, $3 mystery games, and free games just for shopping.

A jocund flame swallows up the cold, cold streams of outside air. The holidays are coming, and everyone begins to feel a little more generous, a little more kind, and a little bit giddy. We're feeling it too, because this time around, winter came to GOG.com before it was cool.

The Holiday Ninja Squirrel (have you met her yet?) brings a generous surprise for all with $3 Mystery Games from the GOG.com catalog, each worth between $6.99 and $34.99. These games won't be part of the regular sale lineup, and unowned games will be prioritized to minimize repeats. We're starting out with a pool of 50+ games, but we'll be adding more throughout the sale - we'll let you know when that happens.

Finale - 2/2

Russonc: more sales.... oh my... I guess the mystery gift sounds fun (probably stupid, but still fun) :)
exactly my thought, fun but probably stupid, and the i mean in the way chances are very large that i end up with some platform/race or other 3d game cause there are so many of these.

anyway, i can always buy it as a gift i guess.
Got it: and a nice one: Stronghold Crusader HD
but i already have it .... i keep it. maybe i can trade it some day.

I was expecting this sale around 15 december...
I'd rather see some new releases instead of yet another sale... But I couldn't resist grabbing a few of the current deals anyway. :x

Too bad that the "freebies" are usually games I already own, and I'd rather not try my luck with the surprise games.
Haven't bought anything yet, apart from three Mystery Games. I'm finally doing what I should have been doing all along - checking out reviews before purchasing. It's already removed one item from consideration for me, and may winnow out more. But there are certainly some games I'll be picking up here.
If i”m guessing right, the Mystery Game will be something like on that Indie giveaway, meaning that they will try to give a game you don”t have. Don”t expect something big.

You're not guessing right.

ANOTHER sale?! And I guess by the time this one is done it'll be time for the Christmas sale, and by then the New Years sale, and then the "Whatever the fuck reason to not release new games" sale. Are you guys sure you're a Polish company, I wouldn't be surprised if GOG was in Tel Aviv rather than Warsaw.
Didn't take me long this time to spend all I can afford :P Now I can look forward to 10 days of other things from my wishlist going by :D
Nope, not going to press the random game button, I still haven't been able to trade away the game I wasted money on from the last time you baited me into gambling GOG. Nope. Not again.
Wow, I can't believe the Winter Sale started so early! Are the Venom Codename: Outbreak and Lichdom: Battlemage games any good?

ReynardFox: Holy shit, Shovel Knight is on sale?!

This is madness!
Its only 33% don't get too excited.

Will personally wait a few hours until this mystery game thing is solved.

CarrionCrow: Same thing happened here. Looking in email, library, nothing showing up for it anywhere.

Konrad: We're looking into this right now, really sorry about the bug or whatever it may be. Stay tuned for an update!
I just want to report the same error, if it's of any use.

Judas said over at some thread that we`d see many new releases, I think theyve reserved the releases for the sale.
Like the daily release during the autumn (or was it the summer ?) sale.
*snip* ninja'd due to forum lag :)

Never been on sale on GOG before, never been discounted higher than 33% anywhere else and the devs have directly stated that they don't intend to discount it any higher. So, yeah, actually, if you're interested in this game, it *is* time to get excited... {shrug}
