500+ deals up to 90% off, $3 mystery games, and free games just for shopping.

A jocund flame swallows up the cold, cold streams of outside air. The holidays are coming, and everyone begins to feel a little more generous, a little more kind, and a little bit giddy. We're feeling it too, because this time around, winter came to GOG.com before it was cool.

The Holiday Ninja Squirrel (have you met her yet?) brings a generous surprise for all with $3 Mystery Games from the GOG.com catalog, each worth between $6.99 and $34.99. These games won't be part of the regular sale lineup, and unowned games will be prioritized to minimize repeats. We're starting out with a pool of 50+ games, but we'll be adding more throughout the sale - we'll let you know when that happens.

Finale - 2/2

Considering buying Anno 1602, is it any good?

Lol, Anno games are now cheaper than that previous bundle.
Stright in the cart :D

Fairfox: How are so few of my Wishlisted games ever on this list. HOW.
Well...
Out of your 51 wishlisted items, 20 have been already on sale, plus 9 are in the mystery pool, and we have a couple of days still ahead of us (e.g. I would expect a Hitman bundle tomorrow).
All in all, I would say that quite a lot of your wishlisted games have been on sale.

Yes, perfect game for dark and cold winter evenings.

Konrad: We're really sorry about the misinformation. If you happened to get a game under $9.99 before we fixed the info (that is, around 2:30 PM GMT), we'd like to give you another mystery roll. On us.
If you contact our support team, they'll give you an extra $3 of store credit that you can use to grab your extra mystery game. It'll be worth anywhere between $6.99 and $34.99. ;)
What a grand gesture Konrad. Kudos to you and whoever else is responsible for it. :)

Pardinuz: Excellent! Finally a good sale on HoMM series without having to buy the whole bundle. :)
Hear hear!

The same goes for The Settlers. It's much appreciated GOG, thanks! :)

I believe we may have Ciris to thank for this development as she took notice of all our favourable and critical comments during the summer sale and promised to pass it all on to the sales team.

I really hope GOG will start doing this with all the games that currently only appear discounted in 'select more to save more'-bundles.
One question,

If I already own the free games recently got, what can I do with them?

There is a couple of threads where you can gift the code to someone is wanting that game.
Still waiting on Dangerous Dave and Catacombs to go on sale. Maybe if you did site wide deals instead of flash sales you'd get more of my money...

eiii: Both of them are good games. Flatout 2 is a bit more polished, more career oriented and has better graphics. Flatout 1 is better when you just want to drive (Flatout 2 has no time trial mode), the controls are a bit more direct and the physics feels more realistic (without making the car too difficult to drive).

My personal favorite is Flatout 1. It's the game I got first and somehow got stuck with. Driving feels a bit more realistic than in Flatout 2 and the graphics always has been good enough for me.
Cool, thanks eiii.
I've been eyeing them for a long time unsure of which one would appeal to me the most. I've mostly hesitated due to all the criticism levelled at the driver's frustrating tendency to torpedo the windscreen at even the slightest bump.
Anyway, seeing that the first game is Nickelback-free I do appreciate your recommendation. ;)
