500+ deals up to 90% off, $3 mystery games, and free games just for shopping.

A jocund flame swallows up the cold, cold streams of outside air. The holidays are coming, and everyone begins to feel a little more generous, a little more kind, and a little bit giddy. We're feeling it too, because this time around, winter came to GOG.com before it was cool.

The Holiday Ninja Squirrel (have you met her yet?) brings a generous surprise for all with $3 Mystery Games from the GOG.com catalog, each worth between $6.99 and $34.99. These games won't be part of the regular sale lineup, and unowned games will be prioritized to minimize repeats. We're starting out with a pool of 50+ games, but we'll be adding more throughout the sale - we'll let you know when that happens.

Finale - 2/2

qwixter: It's Serpent in the Staglands for me. I've been waiting for this to go on sale.
That's my first purchase on this sale.
I hope Star Ruler 2 will appear in the next days too.

+1 for FTL.
I've played it several times and it's great fun.
I haven't played Convoy though.
avatar
Azhdar: Good points and thanks. :) Then I should save my money for the FTL. I hope FTL appears in this winter sale with a big discount. A must-have game for me.
It was a pleasure :)
I wish you it to be on sale ! ;) For me, it's a must have !

IAmSinistar: I agree, FTL is much better than Convoy. I have played FTL multiple times, whereas Convoy I've only taken for a drive a couple times. It seems more random and arbitrary than FTL. Which isn't to say that you won't run into a ship you don't have a prayer against in FTL, either. It just seems fairer when it happens.
So you confirm what I read about convoy :P That's a really missed opportunity : the idea of a convoy in a "mad max world" was nice.

vanchann: I hope Star Ruler 2 will appear in the next days too.
I hope for you too : it's an incredible good game (for me), and deserves a lot more attention and success. It's an original 4X, interesting and well done, I love the graphics, it runs well on my computer... I really love it ! It's one of the best indy game I know too :) (and my list of "best indy games" isn't that long)

Hey, does anyone know if Cinemaware's emulated titles (eg:Defender of the Crown) have improved, or they are still bad?

Not true anymore since Sanctuary RPG: Black Edition, $7.99, is among the mystery games...

I didn't get any update flags for these games, so I guess the files are still the same (and at least for Defender of the Crown it means that it's a very bad emulation).

Mm.. they should have just used a common free emulator.
Anyway, I see that they offer a Dosbox version too.
I'll think about it in the final day, thanks.
I missed you gog

happy to see you're still here!
How is MX vs ATV Unleashed ? Did someone played it around here ?
