500+ deals up to 90% off, $3 mystery games, and free games just for shopping.

A jocund flame swallows up the cold, cold streams of outside air. The holidays are coming, and everyone begins to feel a little more generous, a little more kind, and a little bit giddy. We're feeling it too, because this time around, winter came to GOG.com before it was cool.

The Holiday Ninja Squirrel (have you met her yet?) brings a generous surprise for all with $3 Mystery Games from the GOG.com catalog, each worth between $6.99 and $34.99. These games won't be part of the regular sale lineup, and unowned games will be prioritized to minimize repeats. We're starting out with a pool of 50+ games, but we'll be adding more throughout the sale - we'll let you know when that happens.

Finale - 2/2

The sale will last for 11 days, until December 13, 1:59 PM GMT / 2:59 PM CET / 5:59 AM PST / 8:59 AM EST.
A fair number of my wishlist items are on sale today. Yet for some reason I still don't feel motivated to buy. Perhaps I'm finally feeling the weight of my backlog. Or it could be because I gambled on nine new Mystery Games and got absolute cack. Oh well.
I'm really hoping they put everything back available at the end of the sale. I think I must grab Mount & Blade / M & B: Warband / M & B: w/ Fire and Sword.

My partner said she was going to ABSOLUTELY put cash into the account so I could get them before the deal expired. She said for certain she'd get it done. I'm like "I would have just done it earlier if you weren't going to get to it!"

Sachys: to play chicken with a bull in heat.
Unless you're suggesting said bull has some form of mosaic gene pattern, that's more or less impossible. Is the moose farm the center of an improbability broach? :P
motherfucker, I bought MX vs ATV and it doesn't work. XD

I should have stayed in bed today. :P

Sachys: Don't feel too bad - I was gonna take a gamble but the paypal "pay by credit / debit card" option has vanished again and is instead replaced with "checkout as a guest" - which won't let me "checkout as a guest".
A whole new layer has been added to the mystery...

Smannesman: Still nothing for me.
And aren't you glad? I know I am. Feels so good to buy nothing for a change. :D

Lemon_Curry: Sigh... once again a bunch of interesting titles are reserved for mystery gamblers.

So... GOG gets no money, and I head down the local Moose farm instead, to play chicken with a bull in heat.
paypal via card is working fine to me here in Iowa

Not even on Windows?

Then my chances with Wine aren't that good I guess. ;)

On the one hand yes, on the other hand it would probably also feel good to scratch something of the list.
And scratch it onto another one I guess.

It's evidently a graphics card thing. I'd be super pissed but I only paid $2.

then you must have a very large list of games already if there was nothing you could buy.
i am here since sep 2104 thats 15 months or so, and i must say i have a nice number of games, never thought i would have bought so much in so little time.
Since i cant just play anygame that looks nice (reason known, told that in some posts)
i still have a nice amount of games.

I also have drm free casualgames on retail cd/dvd, mainly from bol dot com, but... the blue guys felt the need to jump on the digital download truck aswell, funny thing is, most of the cheap downloads i saw, are also available for years on gamersgate, so GG is no longer the only one offering cheap digital game downloads cause bol had the urge to do it as well.

So i fear there wont be any more buy 3 games get cheapest free actions, to top it the price for a simple retail casualgame seems to have gone up with 1 tot 2 or 3 euros, CE versions are 18 euros, they used to be 12 or 14 euros, so if bol is gonna continue like this, i wont be getting any more drm free retail games from the blue boys, its to expensive now.
So goodbye Bol... you have messed up.... (AH had taken over the company)

Does MX vs ATV Unleashed only work with certain graphics cards? Does it have any Xbox 360 controller compatibility?
