500+ deals up to 90% off, $3 mystery games, and free games just for shopping.

A jocund flame swallows up the cold, cold streams of outside air. The holidays are coming, and everyone begins to feel a little more generous, a little more kind, and a little bit giddy. We're feeling it too, because this time around, winter came to GOG.com before it was cool.

The Holiday Ninja Squirrel (have you met her yet?) brings a generous surprise for all with $3 Mystery Games from the GOG.com catalog, each worth between $6.99 and $34.99. These games won't be part of the regular sale lineup, and unowned games will be prioritized to minimize repeats. We're starting out with a pool of 50+ games, but we'll be adding more throughout the sale - we'll let you know when that happens.

XxXSprayvWarXxX: If there are people here who haven't played those yet! I strongly reccomend you getting Metro 2033 and Last Light Redux, they are so awesome games! :)
I would agree, if GOG gets their heads together and adds Mac & Linux-Versions for the games, which are available for over an year now.

ggf162: SHOVEL KNIGHT IS ON SALE

I REPEAT

SHOVEL KNIGHT IS ON SALE
avatar
Vitek: I don't believe you. Shovel Knight is never on sale!
It was last weeks at Steam.

Another gambling sale... yay.
Ah not the necro'd thread.
I got all excited when I saw 'Shovel Knight', but that discount doesn't cut it for me at the moment.
Still, I'll see if there's something here for me.
Think twice before buying those Star Wars games, there's probably going to be a much better deal when the movie comes out.
I spent a ton already, I am such a sap...
The sale is here ! :D

Edit : And by the way, good FAQ about the sale GOG.

Konrad: We're looking into this right now, really sorry about the bug or whatever it may be. Stay tuned for an update!
Oh well this is certainly encouraging! I just purchased a mystery game and encountered this same bug.

Good to see that the GOG team is getting things working.
Holy shit, Shovel Knight is on sale?!

This is madness!
Looks like a good sale, better than the last one. Unfortunately, I blew the rest of my money on the last sale :p

Not sure on that one. The movie comes out in 16 days, I think? The sale runs til the 13th, and there will undoubtedly be an encore day before it ends. Putting games out at a discount, then lowering it about a week later makes for unhappy customers.

ReynardFox: Holy shit, Shovel Knight is on sale?!

This is madness!
We only need "The Incredible Machine Megapack" to be discounted now :)
Another sales?
Oh no, another 40 dollars gone...
Honestly, the first thing I thought when I saw this thread was "again? No, it probably is a necro from a previous sale". Then I saw it was real, and went meh. Checked my wishlist, nothing interesting (like by the end of last time). Then I saw the mystery games, and I may actually buy something after all.

PS: I love the Star wars bundle separation: I own one in full, I don't own any of the other.

Also that lightsaber bundle would have been amazing if I didn't already own the whole set. :p
