500+ deals up to 90% off, $3 mystery games, and free games just for shopping.

A jocund flame swallows up the cold, cold streams of outside air. The holidays are coming, and everyone begins to feel a little more generous, a little more kind, and a little bit giddy. We're feeling it too, because this time around, winter came to GOG.com before it was cool.

The Holiday Ninja Squirrel (have you met her yet?) brings a generous surprise for all with $3 Mystery Games from the GOG.com catalog, each worth between $6.99 and $34.99. These games won't be part of the regular sale lineup, and unowned games will be prioritized to minimize repeats. We're starting out with a pool of 50+ games, but we'll be adding more throughout the sale - we'll let you know when that happens.

Just some feedback, but I won't buy Mystery Games any more because I keep getting Windows-only titles and I use a Mac.

Just to give some feedback: I won't buy any more Mystery Games as I am given Windows-only games, and I use a Mac.

haydenaurion: Have the more serious bugs in Grandia II been fixed?

Edit: A better question is, what version is the gog version? http://steamcommunity.com/app/330390/discussions/0/481115363854530800/

JudasIscariot: We have version 1.07, added November 13th.
Nice, thanks for the info! :)
sacrifice your money to the gambling gods hehehehehehehe
Well, my "Mystery Game" has now been defined in my Order History. It was one that I did not have and actually wanted, Gabriel Knight 20th Anniversary. Now, if only it would actually show up in my Library...

How is everyone else doing with the undefined "Mystery Game" purchase bugs?

Wait, do we need to submit a ticket to get the Mystery Item bug fixed, or will it be fixed automatically? Cause I got two earlier, can't buy any more mystery games because of it.

EDIT: Okay, so it seems the two Mystery Games I bought earlier have been changed to pending orders that I need to complete, only I can't complete them because GOG thinks I already have "MYSTERY GAME" in my account. That's a weird fix.

Is it just me, or did the squirrel disappear?

Are you sure the pending games are not simply items that are currently in your cart? If there is something in your cart, GOG will always ask you to "complete" your purchase if you look in your order history.

My mystery game purchase from earlier has been updated to an actual game. It just hasn't been added to my account yet.

I'm not seeing it either. It is a ninja squirrel though, so maybe it's hiding?

It reappears if you select a mystery game.

I didn't have anything in my cart, but now those pending orders have changed to actual games! I guess I just caught them in the midst of the transitional phase. :P

Incidentally, I got Jade Empire and Hearts of Iron II.
There's a couple of things I'd like from the promo, but I won't buy anything for now. I already have a backlog - first time that ever happened to me ! - and I'm part of the secret santa, so I'll have stuff to play regardless.

Are they actually in your library or just listed in the order history?

Edit: Nevermind, my game was just now added to my library after sitting alone in my order history for a good half hour.

Mine was converted too and added to my account.
I just check my wishlist for discounted titles. And approx only about 15% are now discounted. I expected a bit more though.
