500+ deals up to 90% off, $3 mystery games, and free games just for shopping.

A jocund flame swallows up the cold, cold streams of outside air. The holidays are coming, and everyone begins to feel a little more generous, a little more kind, and a little bit giddy. We're feeling it too, because this time around, winter came to GOG.com before it was cool.

The Holiday Ninja Squirrel (have you met her yet?) brings a generous surprise for all with $3 Mystery Games from the GOG.com catalog, each worth between $6.99 and $34.99. These games won't be part of the regular sale lineup, and unowned games will be prioritized to minimize repeats. We're starting out with a pool of 50+ games, but we'll be adding more throughout the sale - we'll let you know when that happens.

Imperial_Sardaukar: I was hoping to pick up Satellite Reign before the sale ended.... I can see the sale is still on but it seems like Satellite Reign is no longer on sale. :( Why is this? Any idea if it'll appear on sale tomorrow?

Thanks!
Daily deals will return tomorrow, you can see the countdown on the main page (right top corner)
I was considering buying divinity original sin, but month is tight, and already got a couple of games to finish...only one I would buy would be banished for my wife, but she wants to wait for better days :p
Oh my God ! GIANTS is free ? I remember playing a demo years ago and it was hilarious.

Konrad: More wallpapers for all!
Our Art Team prepared a few more wallpapers for you guys, now in a bunch of different resolutions and variations: http://gogcom.imgur.com
Do the provided image resolutions correspond to the top most used screen resolutions on your website? I'm especially wondering about the 1392x744 and 1608x852 resolutions as they are even worse than the TV driven 16:9 format.
Damn, I'd love to check out Trine 3, but the reviews are so bad it makes even the 7$ seem like way to much :D I guess I'll settle for Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb and call it a day, making this a almost LucasArts exclusive sale for me (except for Shadowrun Hong Kong). I wish we could get other stuff Disney here, like TRON 2.0 or Maui Mallard Cold Shadow.
Thanks for the freebie.

1392x744 and 1608x852 are iPhone resolutions for anyone who wants the whole horizontal image. 1080p is the most common display resolution, and 1440p should cover most displays and look good.

Of course, you can always grab the 1440p version and zoom/crop to your liking when setting it up on your mobile device for a vertical view.

For some strange reason I can't seem to get the freebie. I claim it but it doesn't show up in my library. Is this happening to anyone else?

It takes a while to appear, check your library again later on.
Thanks GOG for the free gift code! :-)
I've finished Giants a couple of times and it's really fun.

Unfortunately, Star Ruler 2 won't be part of the regular sale though. I was waiting for it.
I see that today it has been added to the gambling mystery games, but I'm not in that.

No problem, it was out of curiosity only. Thanks for the explanation!
Thank you for the freebie!
