This kind of music is so popular, I'm sure there are already hundreds of topics about it like this one! But so what, here's another one....
What are some of your favourite bands/projects? Do you live outside of Germany? (=do you get to see any concerts?)
Please refrain from turning this topic into a political cesspool.

Here's some of MY favourite bands:
(to avoid an endless list, mostly the "classics")

Current 93
The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud
Ordo (Rosarius) Equilibrio
Death In June
Sol Invictus
Boyd Rice
:Of The Wand & The Moon:
Backworld
Blood Axis
Rome
In Gowan Ring
Forseti
Sonne Hagal
Camerata Mediolanense
Von Thronstahl
Allerseelen
Ataraxia
Gaë Bolg
Triarii
Nurse With Wound
Sieben
Spiritual Front
Somewhere in Europe
Dies Natalis
Darkwood
Fire + Ice
Rose Rovine E Amanti
Ordo Equitum Solis
Etc. Etc.

I expect this topic to be very active! And before I forget: /s

Now listening to Heilung. Thanks for the tip! Reminds me a bit of Faith and the Muse, sometimes.

Jordan Reyne (Neo Noir Folk)

Recomendations:
- Children of a Factory Nation: https://jordanreyne.bandcamp.com/album/children-of-a-factory-nation-lp (for a mostly folky record)
- Passenger: https://jordanreyne.bandcamp.com/album/passenger-lp (for an electronic-folk hybrid)
- The Annihilation Sequence: https://jordanreyne.bandcamp.com/album/the-annihilation-sequence-lp (for the industrially inclined)

Out Lines (droning Neo Folk with a Scottish twist)

Random thoughts:
- I'd travel to the end of the earth to hear Alzbeth (TMLHBAC) sing again!
- I saw Ain Soph a couple of years ago at WGT. Liked it a lot, though I'll always prefer their experimental Industrial Noise from the 80s (or whatever you'd like to call it)!
- I love seeing C93 in concert, despite that Tibet likes to make his audience suffer.

Inspiration notwithstanding, Neofolk is usually not related to traditional folk music. ;-)
