I know that feeling well. I'm a former FM players and believe it or not also a LUFC fans. They gave me even more suffering than happiness. And even the Football League is succumb to excess of money from division above. Don't even mention La Liga culprits and Crazy Arab's oil money.
And because I came from a football loving country that have no idea to play or manage football, I came to enjoy the quality of football playing on the pitch itself rather than the tabloid and commercial side of it. The little detail of play, like how Godin defends, the Belgian blitz counter attack or how England set pieces built. It's more relaxing for me that way. Still listening to BBC Yorkshire stream for my weekly saturday punishment though :)

Well Croatia look way better so far... a bad call by the ref... hopefully they have a good second half as well.

It was strange game full of really strange goals and situations.

Congratulations, France. And thanks to Croatia for fighting to the very end. I believe you deserved more, but, well, it's just a football.

Great game, 6 goals in a world cup final, that doesn't happen very often. Unfortunate first goal vs Croatia, Griezmann clearly lost his footing and tripped. Later, Llioris was nice enough to give it back. Perisic's goal was awesome and so was Pogba's. Well played Croatia, I would have been happy if you had won the trophy.
