Sjuan: I hope that tomorrow Argentina plays a good game. if we lose at least I hope it is in a dignified way and not like when we played against Croatia. Obviously I hope they win and I will encourage them until the end :)

Yes, it's a pity we wun get 2 c Messi in action anymore @ this World Cup. He might still be ard in Qatar come 2022 edition but he wld be 35 then. I do hope he gets a gd shot then as that wld probably be his last chance prove he is as gd if not better than Maradona.

Yes, not bad. Not as open as earlier, but still good. Portugal haven't looked that good all tournament though so I wasn't suprised at the result.

Am sure he will be around at the next one, 35 is old, but even on the bench I am sure he will be there.

I'm back.
During my stay in Russia I didn't watch more than 60 minutes of football. Not counting the 2 matches I attended or the 2min FIFATV highlights I checked on my phone each day when I had access to internet.
So, yeah, it was really good. Kaliningrad was a bore, but I'm absolutely in love with Moscow and all the beauty she offers.

Gotta check today's matches in some extended form, but first I think I owe myself a good 8 hours of sleep first time in 10 days. xD
Not gonna quote myself about Germany, but, told you so. :P

They took good penalties, and Spain were stupid to play it through to that, but how VAR can look right at Russia holding players in the box and not give it can only be described as a home decision.

Every team has gotten away with it. They rarely use VAR for shirt holding and the like. Same issue in the FA cup last season

But they did use VAR, it was there, it was blatant, and they were still cleared by VAR.
