Breja: I just want Deponia Doomsday. And the Telltales Batman games. So not much interest in all that AAA stuff. I guess Warhammer Total War would be fun, but other than that... meh.
Urgh do we reall need ANOTHER Batman game.

He is overdone at this point. Make an adventure game about Superman, Wonder Woman, or Green Lantern.

Anyone but Batman.

People who only writes for Batman and no one else are people who lack imagination on how to do a proper Superman, Wonder Woman, and Green Lantern story.

Wanting more Batman games doesn't mean I don't want games with other characters. It's like saying "ugh, another Star Trek series? Why not a Blake's 7 sequel? 0/10, not watching".

So... two DRM clients and a jew walk into a bar...
um .. i don't get it, its maybe the language barrier
Is Shadow Warrior 2 considered AAA?
I'd be happy with any old aaas like bloodlines, batman arkham series, bioshock series, oblivion and a couple more that I can't remember now

rodrolliv: Is Shadow Warrior 2 considered AAA?
I'd say yes actually, but in the context of a "AAA game being released on GoG" that was mentioned in the CDPR conference, I'm guessing this isn't the one.

I'm thinking more in the lines of a coup with a major publisher.

*EDIT*

I hope we see Bloodlines too! I completely missed this game the first time around and I'd love a shot at playing it.

As for the others, I bet if the publisher of the AAA game is Take 2 it won't be long before Bioshock shows up here. And frankly, I'm more surprised we HAVEN'T seen Arkham Asylum yet, less surprised when it does eventually get here.

gibbeynator: Dark Souls, any of them, will never come here in a million years because they're all technically MMOs. You NEED that connection to the servers, that's literally half the point of the game.
No, it isn't. At all. What your saying is sooo completely false that I'm surprised you can spell the series' name.

Gersen: Technically MMOs ? Yes there is an online component in the Souls games but it's mostly a gimmick that is fun maybe once or twice and then that, unless you are a huge fan of PvP in general, you disable and forget about it.
Yup. I own the retail version of the first game and I kept the online mode disabled. No regrets.

I'm of the opinion that GOG opened to adding new Indy games to the catalog because it would have been increasingly apparently that no new (to GOG) AAA games, classic or more recent were forthcoming. Some stuff has shown up anyway, like the ST games from Interplay, and all the SW stuff once Disney got onboard, but not much else. I suspect that future "AAA" titles might be coming from Disney as well; the titles that are on Steam and missing from here anyway, such as the Disney Princess games, etc.

Barry_Woodward: Take-Two Interactive!? I'm not sure certain information should be on this Twitch account...

https://www.twitch.tv/memoriesin8bit
Our streamers can play whatever they want on their own channels. Posts you linked are sneak peaks of 8bit's series of Max Payne he's doing on his own channel. There's no GOG.com logo in there, no GOG.com channel linked.

The only thing appearing on our channels that connects us to GOG.com is "GOG.com StreamTeam" which we're all part of - it's a Twitch Team that allows our watchers to check if anyone of us streams when GOG.com stream is offline.

So no, when I stream Silent Hill or Vlad streams Division on his channel, it doesn't mean those games are coming to GOG.com. Why would we stream them on our channels then? :)
If only the stream team had that kind of pull with publishers.

There are many Wonder Woman, Justice League, Arrow etc. fans, but game-wise WB has almost solely focused on Batman games.
We´d love other characters getting a game, but the chances are pretty low.

Another factor is the more superpowers a character has the harder it gets to make a good or even decent game.

Who cares and the Saints Row 4 game certainly does not?

I wanna play a Superman game where I can fly through the city.

I wann play a Wonder Woman gaming beating up evil greek gods/demons and monsters like the Minotaur and the Hydra.

I wanna play a Green Latern game manipulating the power of the ring into anything the creators can do.

One of my favourite games in fact. :D
I said it get´s harder to make a good game, not impossible. :)

We´ll have to wait and see if they make a game that is not about Batman, I´m not very optimistic regarding that, but it could happen.
