Sale good or not... I was actually hoping for a bit more of, dunno, an event? Crazy contests, "my favourite games" or "the most frustrating games getting to run on modern systems" retrospectives by GOG staff... Win a trip to Warzawa... Seeing Linko karaoke live....Or livestream on Twitch with the community voting the next song...
"That Was It?"

That's what she said.

Yeah, something like that would be cool. And other stuff from the staff. After all it's their anniversary, too, as a huge part of the company.
Some kind of really special release (a great classic we're all still waiting on, or something big like the Mass Effect trilogy) would have been awesome to couple with the 10th anniversary celebration, but it's hard to complain about receiving an expensive, well reviewed game for free. Not in love with the site redesign, but I'll get used to it.
Hey, at least we didn't get any lootbox/gambling-like side sale, and we haven't got any of those for a while now. That's quite nice, right? Sometimes instead of hoping for the best, you gotta be happy with just having avoided the worst.

You mean like "Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine"? That game had over 3,200 votes on the wishlist. It's a really special release and a great classic thousands of people were waiting for.

This could happen.

Oops, I thought that came before the 10th anniversary start date... I was out of town when it started, so I probably got confused. Regardless, even though it's not my cup of tea it definitely qualifies as a classic for many people so I'll accept that :P

It was a great event and they even released ADOM which was both a surprise and a game I've wanted here for a long time. I already owned Shadow Warrior 2, will be passing it to my friend who missed the giveaway.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: The thread title makes it sound like the 10th anniversary wasn't great.

Crosmando: The sales were pretty mediocre, I got like 100 things in my wishlist and less than a dozen were even on sale.
Yeah I was kinda shocked here as well. I think maybe like FOUR games on my wishlist are on sale and my number is like over 300.
I was disappointed there were no Japanese game bundles or at least sales. I would've loved a "Tales Of" bundle with Cold Steel and others at a deep cut as a bundle.

CARRiON-XCII: They got Soldier of Fortune. A series thought to be stuck in licensing hell.
The new releases were the highlight imo, all pretty highly-desired games. Not AMAZING releases like NOLF but pretty nice.

I'm well known for my American accent.
I'm glad they've been around so long and I'm happy to get shadow warrior 2 but I just wish more stuff would've been on sale so I could buy stuff.
I've decided I'd rather have Shadow Warrior 1, instead. Any chance for a refund?
