Ok, Happy 10 Years Anniversary anyways GOG.

Come now, they completely ruined the entire store for the big anniversary. That's got to count for something.

Maybe that was all a joke and they rollback to the old design next week :-P

Aha, a sequel to the infamous shut down gag?

The thread title makes it sound like the 10th anniversary wasn't great.

But actually, yes it was great.

They gave away Shadow Warrior 2 for free, which is amazingly generous & awesome!

The 10th Anniversary Collection III bundle is an unbelievably good deal that even includes a recent AAA game, and two other games, for only $25 USD.

They released Guns, Gore, and Cannoli here which is a great game and on sale for a super-cheap price.

These are all wonderful things

Having said all that, I do agree with others who are saying that they should not have "redesigned"/ruined the site. But that's not a reason to neglect the positive things I've mentioned.
Yep,that's it but wait there's more.Everyone that didn't get a balloon or a piece of cake got a free game, well those that didn't own it already and thanks to Gog for their generosity.
Not a bad event. Just sucks that I won a game I can't run and there have been no new sales all week. Oh well, Halloween is not far.
I stayed up all night outisde to see the fireworks display but dammit, GOG disappointed yet again.

Tell you what, it was not visible from Australia... Not even from Łódź which is a lot closer.

The free game was neat (not that I plan to play it in the foreseeable future) and the prices for the bundles where/are awesome... for the people interested in the games contained.

I did expected some massive eye popping, brain blowing releases. They did had a good start with Stellaris but... also a finish with it. Where is the Skyrim, the NOLF, the FO4, Civ5 & 6? The "will never be on gog!!11" releases? Yeah, I expected not just the big guns, but the artillery, a tank squad and a carrier fleet (and no, that is not my subconsciousness wishing for the C&C series but it would be a fitting highlight too).

It was... nice for an anniversary event. It was quite underwhelming for a 10y anniversary. But that is just my very personal opinion.

:O is it today?
It the words of the great American poet Mike Patton, "What is it!? It's it! What is it?"

I feel the same, but to be fair its not GoG's fault rather the fault of publishers.

The sales were pretty mediocre, I got like 100 things in my wishlist and less than a dozen were even on sale.

And the only game I was excited about and bought is a whopping 0% off! ;) Yeah, it was nice for the last Indiana Jones game to finally pop up, but overall the whole anniversary spiel gets a big "meh" from me. *shrug*
