Either way my menstruating heart isn't bleeding enough for two.
I blame the expectation on the "when will gog 10th anniversary" thread :D

I think it has set a lofty expectation to forum regular and others. I was gonna read it back but the stupid search in this forum failed me. But sale wise, the only great sale this year to date was the Summer Sale.

OH MY! And he switches up albums on me! +1!
They got Soldier of Fortune. A series thought to be stuck in licensing hell.

I'm good.
There were a couple of good releases, unusual for gog nowadays, and a good discount on a set of games. Other than that I really didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.
You people realise that it was supposed to be gog's birthsday and not yours, right ? Just verifying.

Corporations don't get charity.
We had some pretty good offers as it has already been said. Still I am a bit disappointed because on all recent sales I had several games to browse through with difficulties deciding which one to buy in the end. This should have been one of the greatest sale ever but the amount of discounted games alone was disappointing for me - add to that that most "normal" discounts were not even as big as in recent sales.

Again: The few offers they had were amazing - I guess I simply expected something different.

(Still trying to get used to the new site. So far I only noticed that some things don't work at all and others seem to be more complicated now .)

Did you give GoG a birthday present?
I'd have been satisfied with even fewer sales/discounts, if the site redesign had been an improvement instead of the obvious disaster that it has become. The thread "Anyone disliking the 'new' GOG ? " chronicles many of the things done wrong, most of which, in my opinion, should have been caught and fixed before the changes went live. Instead, here we are days later and they have fixed only a small number of the more embarrassing problems and, as far as I can see, not even indicated they recognize many of the other problems as issues worth fixing *ever*.
I'm pleased with it. Snagged that $25 pack which seems like a steal, and they also released Guns, Gore & Cannoli which looks stupid-fun. The site update isn't causing me the wailing and gnashing of teeth like so many others seem to be suffering. And hey - after 10 years fighting the good fight, gOg is still around for everyone to bitch about! And sell us DRM-free games.

So yeah, it's fine in my book.

Edit: and free Wang!

Of course. But in their absence I had no choice but to accept it (and thank me warmly) on their behalf.
