tfishell: I appreciate GOG trying new things, but yeah I don't like it.
Yep, I don't have an issue if there is some sense behind new things they try.
That said, if it isn't to our benefit, then we should have to opt in or at the very least have a way to opt out.
There has been a bunch of things I haven't minded, that I am not personally interested in, but I can see the possible sense in them.
Unnecessary popups and emails and standout icons are just an annoyance though.
At times it just feels like GOG are grasping at straws in what feels like desperation, and we are the unfortunate guinea pigs.
The number of items on my Wishlist is a pretty good indicator of what actually needs to improve ... prices.
Telling me I have a wishlist and that a whole bunch of things on it have discounts, is meaningless if those prices still aren't good enough, just the usual repeats, such that many of the games could be said to have two prices, with the second one being the supposed discount but really an alternate price that crops up once every month or three.
So if that icon represented the number of games on my wishlist that were below their regular alternate price, then I'd probably appreciate it ... or at least not be annoyed by it.
