And for your library, you don't even need to use the drop-down menu to access it, just click on your username (the option next to SUPPORT). This has the same result as clicking on the Games option, they are two redundant ways of getting the same thing.

This for some reason doesn't always work for me. It used to be that whenever I clicked on "OldFatGuy" it would take me to my games library. However, since... 2 years or so////, often when I click on "OldFatGuy{ it results in a clear, white screen with nothing on it. I just did this to test again, and got both results. Once, it took me to my game library, then when I tried it again, I got that old clear white screen.

Clicking the name leads to the profile page and if that's not active, you see that white screen.

Give me strength... seriously, there are so many things that need fixing around here. Why waste time on implementing something so pointless instead. Twiddle with redundant icons once you've actually fixed the tags, the my recent posts page, the wishlist's "discounted" filter. Hell, fix at least one of those things first.

Not always. It will still sometimes take me to my games library, like it always did before. I guess adding the profile page was when I started seeing the white page sometimes. But even now, sometimes when I click the name it takes me to my games page like old times.
Getting rid of the purple dot is a very worthwhile thing. If only I could get rid of it....

Thanks. Didn't work though. I saw the notification in the thread title that someone had responded to one of my posts, and before entering this thread I went to the My Settings page and the clear notifications button is still not there.

Nuts. I tried a system refresh. Purple dot still there.

Maybe the purple dot is the world's first "AI aware" being, and it doesn't want to be dead.

Dammit, I even tried the old way that at least cleared it but when it came back it stayed again. In other words, using the method in that thread was necessary each and every time you got the purple dot, which, of course, made it unusable.

But I thought well if I can just get rid of it then due to this new "fix" it might be okay. But every time I try to paste that bit of code into the console, it won't let me. Don't know when that changed, because I sure as hell used it before.

I swear the purple fucking dot is IMMORTAL. AARRRCCCHHHH!!!! lol

After refreshing a few times the clear all button showed up. Using it cleared my dot.

Hey, it WORKED!!! Thanks for replying. It re lit the purple dot, and then, when I opened this thread, THE PURPLE DOT WENT AWAY.

I don't think it's working as intended yet. Just got notification of titles on sale via the bell icon while whishlist icon remains silent.

The bell usually triggers around evening for me, about 6-7pm. No idea how's the heart going to behave, so far I have noting on my wishlist getting discounted.
