Not to be mean or a "buzzkill" but you do get that this is only making you look bad and giving him ammo to use against you, right?

Also fwiw I think both of you need to calm down and take a breather and think about how important this back and forth is in the grand scheme of things.

You see, I am doing this for the exact reason that I truly couldn't give two bits about what a random guy online says about me (my statements in a forum, which are not my person, that is the key element in "the grand scheme of things").

I am mocking him, and if anyone thinks poorly of me because of it they fall in the same /dev/null in my head. I am trolling the heck out of the guy and he just keeps on replying, what's not to love about it?

I just see true trolling as not having much point(unless it's silly back and forth between two or more who agree to it being harmless fun) is all...well beyond bothering people that is.

In the end I see no point to it in the grand scheme of things(as you said), and would rather discuss other issues here and elsewhere online and IRL with likeminded people.
