We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

The following issues have been fixed:
When clicking on Store->New Releases, Bestsellers, Discounted or on tags like Indie, Action etc., only those items are now displayed.

A click on publisher/developer reset the browser to the store main page. Only after returning to the previous page and clicking on the link for a second time, the publisher or developer page was displayed. When clicking on publisher or developer and both are the same, sometimes only one item was shown clicking on one and all items after clicking on the other. Now a click shows all games after a click on either category.

This is to say thank you for listening and fixing these issues, GOG!

Oh, lucky you!

But... just to let you know: the little annoying issue persists here...

On the other hand:
Oh, lucky you because GOG listens and pays attention to you... while GOG does not to the most of the people here in the forum.

In case of doubt, this 2 whole threads: Both have some things in common:
-Check the dates
-Check the participants (well, identify who are entirely missing)

But if giving thanks for a priority problem partially solved after 2 weeks is the standard here... then this is a great milestone...

I am sorry to rant, but as customers we should demand a decent service. Cheering up a very bad one does not help at all. -my opinion-

Lucky we, more like. It would be highly presumptous of me to assume that they were listening to me and not to others who also brought these issues up. That is why I thanked them for listening. There is nothing wrong thanking GOG for fixing something when they do.

Listening is one thing, communicating with their customers the other. When they become aware of something, they should spare some seconds to write a oneliner: "We are aware of this issue and have forwarded it to our tech staff", something they clearly got to work on.

It would be great if there was a public support-tracker. Issues can be reported and everyone is on the same page about what's being worked on and the current status. It would also help blues and forum moderators. They wouldn't have to waste time on doing extra work instead of being present in the forums to help and communicate with us.

Ultimately it is in their own best interest to listen to their customers' needs voiced on their forums. When they don't communicate what's going on or listen to feedback they risk loosing customers. Something even they can hardly afford. ;)
Sorry but no, still not fixed.
Just tested clicking on a developer link and it went back to default search parameters.
The wait continues. Guessing this will just be another nuisance of the store to deal with for the foreseeable future.
I´ve noticed that if you open the page developer on a new tab it works correctly.

Yeah, ditto. It only seems to happen on the first click, so it's probably some session management related issue.
Oh, wow until yesterday I had to try multiple attempts to get a dev or publisher page. Now it seems to be working for me on a modified Chrome browser.
I still can't hide owner products for this account. Only for a different account. So this too might work randmly for some users and maybe not even all the time.

A shot in the dark but have you tried clearing session history, cookies and browsing history or different browser?

I couldn't replicate the issues on firefox, I'll try clearing on chrome to see if that changes things.
Edit: Cleared everything on chrome and could replicate it again. The bookmark issue seems to be fixed though.

I think so too, usually the first visit of the day, or after 20+ minute break when returning it happens again.
Definitely odd.

Hi Mori_Yuki,

I absolutely agree with you on the saying thanks part! And you would not need to trust me at this exact moment as an opportunistic shallow Joe: you could search my posts here in the forum and I am totally confident you will spot me saying thanks here and there in recent and old posts... Why? Well, because I like it and that's the way my parents & my highly appreciated very first elementary teachers educated me. Personally, every time I say thanks I feel I am honoring them. A silly thought maybe, but that's how I feel & think it :)

I hope you believe I thank you for:
-your time to reply
-your civil way despite my rough and stupid rant/ironic mode
-sharing your thoughts: I second your idea of a public support-tracker!
-not having hard feelings. I cannot talk on your behalf, but from me this is only a disagreement.

But honestly, I stand about our disagreement to say thanks to GOG support. To me they don't deserve it because their results stink big time. They would need to catch up to the long list of ,,pending,, items they have to then have me in the honest need to say thanks :S
And please don't get me wrong, I am not a GOG hater (well, that's how I perceive myself): The support wing is not the 100% of GOG and there are other areas that in my opinion are doing a great job and I am happy with those.

About the specific store links issue: Seems to work at this moment (store front, and the dev & pub links on Battle Chess). Not an exhaustive test but the 8,9 links clicked opened what they must. As other goglodytes post here, this would need to pass the test of time (a couple of days) and a substantial amount of goglodytes saying the links are back to normal to consider it solved. I am sorry to don't praise a fundamental part of the support duties that they performed late, but finally!

I really hope the GOG support improves one of this days and join your thanks notes. That will dissolve a bunch of threads and will improve our lives as customers to let us perform our priority reasons here: purchase GOG games and talk about the joy of playing them! :)

P.S. The thanksgiving holiday is something I really envy and wish my nation would have: A day to show our appreciation and/or at least say thanks :)

Just experimented with Store->New Releases and it does what the link implies: https://www.gog.com/games?sort=date&page=1
Meaning it displays everything and not just "New Releases" but uses the respective 'date' sorting order.

A link to limit the results to new releases would be one with "tab=new" in it. It does not use that in the Store->New Releases though. Possible would sth like this: https://www.gog.com/games?sort=date&page=1&tab=new

So far as I can tell: No, they didnt fix it or not in the manner your quote implies.

Edit: And the featured games are out of sync not even showing fitting games - see 'Solasta' in the discounted section in the attachment:

Edit 2: fixed superfluous link

I was unable to reproduce this problem until now. Thanks to your screenshot I think i know what the real problem is. GOG still has to make the new shop system available to all customers. Opening up a new private browser window in FF 94.0.1 (64-Bit), the result is the same as you and Swissy88 describe: Clicking on any of the categories for the first time and all games will be displayed. Clicking a second time would only show discounted or bestselling items.

Bestselling is so far the only item which doesn't work. Clicking on it will display all games each time in both the old and new system.

I do believe you and there are no hard feelings on my part. :)

There is still a long ways to go for GOG until this shop and community can reach its full potential. The sad thing is that sometimes GOG simply ignores issues, everything takes forever, numerous topics and support tickets have to be opened, wishlist entries are not fulfilled. This is why I understood the need to vent your frustrations and this topic was as good a topic for it as any.

I have also shared my piece with GOG without holding back more often than not. My parents taught me to be patient is why it isn't difficult for me to wait for a long time until finally things get fixed or issues resolved. The important part is to know that there is someone out there taking care of it. This is why GOG must work on their communication and possibly hire more staff outside Poland to work for them.

I, too, find that GOG will have to realize that they got to do way more to keep their customers happy. There are also still lots of wishes to be fulfilled and deficiencys to make good for and I hope they will. :)

Stay safe and have a nice and successful day. :)

You too Mori_Yuki Thank you and see you around :)
Seems like they fixed the issue. Opening the store search pages in a new incognito session now displays the expected results on my end.
