GOG! You Guys Rock!

Getting God of War, and Legacy of Thieves Collection is such an pleasant surprise.

I have a feeling you have a few more Sony games up your sleeve.

You know what they say about not counting chickens? I can't help but notice that the marker of "SOON" is on God of War.

1) This is not one of the good God of War games.

2) These are also not the good Uncharted games.

3) These games have spyware in them just like all of the other Sony games on GOG.

If & when GOG acquires the good titles in these serieses of games, and also if and when GOG insists that Sony removes the spyware from the GOG versions of the not-so-good titles in these serieses, then that would be cause for celebration.

At the moment, not so much.

You are right.

The best GOW war games are the original trilogy games.

We play the games to PLAY the games, not watch a movie game like the new GOW games.

I've never quite understood why people refer to God of War as a "movie game" because it actually has more gameplay than the first game in the series. While I do agree that the original trilogy is better

For me, it's
GOW3>GOW1>GOW2>ghost of sparta>GOW>chains of olympus>ascension

The question which of the games are better does not really matter for a PC user, does it?
These are the only ones we go so far.


And Spyware ... every Unity game phones home, as even the slowest of us learned recently.

So far I could play all Sony games offline as well, so at least they don't rely on it and don't stop working if you block them with your firewall.

That's just about the most bizarre and inacurate take on this game I could possibly imagine. You'd have to complain about Kratos wearing too much pink to make less sense.

Apparently I'm not, since I had a ton of fun with God of War, I have no idea what "woke propaganda" has to do with the patently false claim that it was more watching a movie than playing a game, and there is no way I'm wasting almost 90 minutes of my life to (maybe) find out.

To be fair, the "good" God of War games as some put it (the original trilogy), arnt even accessible on PC unless you pirate/emulate so not a fair criticism for GOG.

While the camera isnt great, I still think new God of War is a great game though (except the copy/paste trolls). Still think it is great that Sony games have come to GOG and if you want to try an underrated gem, there is Days Gone.

To think will never get new Syphon filter game now. Because of Sony.

Chart a list and define for us, if you have the time. So we may avoid such pitfalls.
