I consider the following to be a Truth:

People are very, very quick to complain, and very, very slow to praise.

I try to show appreciation when and where I can, as I think there's far too little of it in the world. People may complain about GOG in other threads, but I wanted to make this one to thank them. Outcast is currently free, so I just wanted to say thanks, both to GOG and whoever else may be involved.
Words of wisdom.
Thank you GoG.
Agreed. The best part about it is that I've been meaning to grab Outcast for a while and just never jumped on it. Now, I don't have to haha. And yeah, nobody ever said that people have to agree with everything GOG does or consider them perfect but the constant hate/toxicity gets really old.
It is appreciated. Thank you, GOG.
And thank you too, BlueMooner. I did not visit the main page, I usually check the forums - your thread helped in this case.
GOG is a great launcher and market overall. Of course, it's niche but they appreciate us - their niche. Thanks for it :)
If I told you that there are several other free games for you to claim...?
tq for the free game the other day
I stand here repentant and want to say thank you too : )

Thanks for Steamworld Dig 2, to GOG and Image And Form.
Absolutely !

Already said thank you on the French forum

But

Thank you Gog again for the last 2 games offered ;-)
The concept of GOG Good Old Games itself is admirable.
My habit is to turn back to old games while having a mood close to nostalgia, kind of listening to the songs experience.
When I have no time to continue, my kid goes forward for me and does much better now:)

Yeah. Epic gave away lots of free stuff, most of which is strangely DRM-Free, yet nobody said thanks. Also, right before GOG brought in the Batman Arkham series, Epic gave away the entire series just like that (Drm-free!), while here in the store they are more expensive even during sales, compared against other stores. Too little too late and very sparsely, come the freebies. Even at gifts, GOG is the last in the market and competition.

Oh yes, please let me know where I can say thanks to Epic on their forum.
Also their version of Arkham Knight games were updated last year, since then only Steam and GOG games work for me. (Yes, I checked it several times on different machines, all with Windows 7)

Not all people care about Epic, their products or their tactics.
Also, this is not a thread about Epic. OP and posters wanted to show gratitude to GOG and those involved in making this possible.
