To the GoG.com staff,
I'm just dropping in to say THANK YOU for giving people the chance to play DRM free games.
However, as economies grow and fall, my country (Argentina) is facing a dire situation regarding currency and conversion rates.
During the last 15 days, USD to ARS conversion went 1:20 to 1:28. And 2 months before that, it went 1:16 to 1:20.
So you can imagine that it's really hard to get games at those prices from now on.
I'm forced to move to Steam sadly, where they're converting USD to ARS at a variable rate (when I buy a game, its value is set in ARS, and charged to me in USD at the conversion rate of the card's closing date). I dont want to stop buying at GoG but there's no choice.
So: Thanks GoG for the ride and I'm really hoping this crap gets figured out eventually. I highly doubt this will change until the next government comes though.
Feel free to add me if anyone wants to play something, I'll still stick around of course and play the games I've acquired so far.
