SOLVED: The post didn't go through because I had included a link. There was no error message to this effect so I had no idea. But when posting a link initially in this post to that subforum I was told for this post that it wasn't possible, which gave me the idea to try not using the link over there.

Sorry for the title, I thought I could edit it. I didn't except this post would work, since my problem is that I can't post. Specifically I can't post a topic in the Heroes of Might and Magic forum. When I click on the post button it says "processing..." and then it reverts back to the original button, without having posted.

I receive no error message. Any ideas?

Most likely reason: You tried to post a link and still have too low rep to do so.

Unfinished quote marks or brackets most likely, or posting links when your rep is too low maybe. If you put the word quote within brackets and don't end it with / and quote in brackets this causes an endless processing.

Are you using links? New users generally can't post links..
Or swearing in caps, that gets blocked too.

The only other thing I can think of that can cause issues is bad formatting tags (like unclosed quote tags).
