Journey and Master Mode, golf game, new weather effects - those are only a few features that come along with a large update for Terraria titled Journey’s End. Changes were also made in character and world creation menu, as well as in balancing some of the enemies’ strengths and weaknesses.
How can I get the changelog for this patch? The link in the library takes me to a page where I can choose between different things, including the changelog. But if I click on the link to the changelog, it just reloads the page where I can choose to read the changelog, so I never reach the actual page with the changelog!

Sachys: its a bit of a mix of an "easy" and "creative" type mode - you get boosted start gear, can duplicate items etc.

characters made for it are locked to journey mode.

IronArcturus: Thanks for the info!
no prob!

NovusBogus: not sure if it offers the usual infinite health and resources.
well, i died and respawned after hitting lava...

Ah, but that's all up to you if you want to play it the easy way. You can still gather stuff the regular way without duplication. You can also crank mobs all the way up and multiple their spawning rate. ;)

Edit: as for "not dying" - godmode is also an option you can turn on an off any time.

Strange! Wasn'r shown as updated in my game library, and Linux version has 2 parts which are identical.

In the Galaxy client, the changelog is visable, but it is a link to the official forums because the text size is too big.

Right now the official forums are down, the official forums will hopefully be back up not too long from now and the changelog can be read there

Here's the link for when the forums are back up: https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/there-back-again-a-summary-of-journeys-end.87997/

It's hilarious, you start off with a bird in a bird's nest on your head and the bird attacks the slimes/monsters, I haven't tried at night, my guess is that the bird isn't invulnerable and can be killed at some point, otherwise, what's the point of free weapons/armor?
Awesome, I wasn't expecting for Gog to put this update on today. Gonna have fun with this as soon as the update is completed. :)
guys, what s the correct md5 of linux installer?
Downloaded update via gogrepopy - gave me two files:
ea28af552d03f03ca155bb7ef643429c terraria_journey_s_end_update_38319(1).sh
c11eae8484fcd7e22bea1a98e605d014 terraria_journey_s_end_update_38319.sh

difference is like 1 byte or something. Usually it happens when gog make mistake on their side and upload wrong build, then fix it asap. But which one is actually valid?

They've removed duplicate. Now you can only download "c11e..."
Love this game! Glad to have a really good excuse to get back into it.

Good grief, you don’t want much. A working change log, what next, being able to download a specific released version rather than the broken latest one?

It is also inside the installation folder (changelog.txt)

Anyway, the update is huge. I have been trying the new journey mode, the extra range is awesome. Also, new music, new icons, new items, what it seems a better world generation and other QOL changes. Massive update.

If only all devs were like Re-logic...instead, we get tons of overpriced dlc's with little content in some cases. Or no updates at all.

Great job, Re-logic, you have all my respect and admiration.
high rated
Journey's End... I should be sad to hear those words, but I'm sooooooooo proud of Re-logic for supporting Terraria up to this very point. What a labor of love this game is! Such great replayability!

Terraria has finally left their nest and is flying into the arms of the community, to be forever cherished... :)
