tomimt: So I take it their risky move with expensive properties didn't pan off. Shame, really as I was really looking forward for Wolf among us 2 and the second installment of the only on incarnation of Borderlands I've liked.
Bor-DERlands is kinda shit 1 the prequel and 2 feel pretty LAME I just couldn't for the life of me like the game I tried I really Really tried to like it but NOPE it just felt really really off to me like something was amiss, Anyone else feel that?
I'd say i'm suprised but i'm not. People have been telling Telltale for years that they need to up their game but they never listened.

Their recent offerings (TWD3, Minecraft, Batman, etc) all ran very poorly on PS3 & XBX 360 with crashes and very bad framerates. And they just kepy churning out the same issues on each game, and charging next to the same as their modern counterparts.

Then theres their modern counterparts (PS4, XBX1 & PC) which for what that they are are still very expensive. If they made decent games, then i'd be more open to what they do charge, but when you can put the controller down and only press a button when you are in a event which you will die on, and still get exactly the same result as when you sit and play through it properly, I don't think its fair charging what they do for those sort of mechanics.
The real question is : What about the TellTale Games catalogue on GOG ? Temporary or permanently removed ?

I would like an official response from GOG staff asap, please.
Perhaps THQ Nordic will buy them out and continue the franchises.

fr33kSh0w2012: Well what did they expect when they overcharge people for their games I wasn't about to pay AUD $49.99 for the first part in a series!

So yeah they kind of brought it on themselves.

If they had charged people a REASONABLE amount like $24.99 for each part I might of actually bought what amounts to an interactive graphical novel with some actual gameplay elements thrown in.

So glad I grabbed the mobile game stranger things though!

oh here on google play https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.bonusxp.legend&hl=en_US

I can't believe it's FREE!
Is there a way to play that on pc, wouldn't mind looking at it as I like the stranger things series.

It always was peculiar how they just couldn't get their shit together with the engine. While they did place some improvements to it over the years, it was probably technically and architecturally way too dated for modern systems and they should have had either built a new engine or start using something like UE4 years ago.

Bigs: The Walking Dead: The Final Season, meanwhile, will remain unfinished.

So are purchasers of TWD: TFS going to get refunds?
If they go bankrupt, certainly not.
In any other case, maybe, but if they don't have money to run the company, I don't think they have money for refunds either.

At best I could imagine them compensating by offering some of their other games to make up for the missing game, but I don't think that will be their priority at any point now.

Just download and backup, and the question becomes an academic point of discussion.
DRM-free exists for situations like this!

They ARE closing down.
They're leaving a skeleton crew (for now) to finish Minecraft, probably because Microsoft paid handsomely for it. That's it.

I always thought so as well. Rather than keep throwing out broken games for the older systems they should of just stopped releasing on them. But it was never about the customer with TellTale, their forced releases and high prices showed that.
This is such sad news. ) :
I really loved The Wolf Among Us, and was so much looking forward to Wolf Among Us 2.
What in the hell? How did this studio go from such heights to such lows? Was it all just a fad of the Walking Dead followed by The Wolf Among Us?

It was expensive. I think that killed them when they started pumping out the formula and the novelty died. I did like that Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy and I did want another one. Oh well. Maybe after Superman Rocksteady will make my Starlord Arkham game.
Sorry to hear. Really like their Walking Dead series... I`d better buy the last two fast.

p.s Also heard developers and workers being let go until the last second, some families don`t even know where their next wage is coming from. It`s bad. I`m sure they`ll be ok (I`ve been in a similar situation) but I hope they recover and find new jobs quickly.

We're currently looking into how the current situation affects TellTale Games on GOG. Given it's a weekend, we may have no further updates till the start of next week.

Don't panic just yet. Updates will be posted on the forums as we get them.

There's ways to run virtualized Android environments on PC (BlueStacks is one option, though I wouldn't bother unless you're packing a serious amount of RAM in your PC you plan to use it on - the minimum (~2GB) recommended is far underpowered if you plan to use it to play Android games on PC without slowdown).
