I doubt a company like CD Projekt Red would want to be known for having to be sued for not paying taxes.

Well, there are two options. The Commissioner of Taxation could commence proceedings in the Federal Court of Australia against CD Projekt Red or whatever subsidiary operates this website. Once a judgment is obtained, the judgment could be registered in Poland. The process for registering judgments in different countries depends on the treaties between those countries and can be very simple or more complex. The Commissioner of Taxation could then use the enforcement process through the Polish court system (seizing goods, garnishing money from bank accounts, etc). The second option is that the Commissioner of Taxation could commence proceedings in a court in Poland and then commence enforcement proceedings once judgment is obtained over there.

Haha, I'm an Australian lawyer so I can't say, but here you would just be entitled to the cost of fixing your car. The way people award damages in your country is very different.

Bringing this one back up from the dead.
Challenges to the new tax laws have failed. The "Netflix Tax", as it's nicknamed, has been passed in parliament and came into effect officially on July 1 in Australia. So far, no announcement from GOG on how they're handling it...are they currently absorbing the 10%? Are they hiking prices 10% soon? Do they even know about the Netflix Tax?
