I suppose you are giving the code that you took (King's Bounty: Armored Princess) back to the pool as well then? Or do you want to offer a different game instead of the one you plan to remove?

I'm just following the rules of the thread. Technically speaking, after just 5 days someone could just take their code back and keep it. I don't do that. I've removed two codes that have sat on the list for over two weeks where both times there have been other offers of the same game. Rather than just taking them back, I've chosen to gift them instead.

Personally, I will not offer a second copy of any game, any offer I make is a game not on the list. And while the rules allow otherwise, I will not remove a game that is the only copy up for offer. I think I'm being pretty fair about it.

My apologies, I hadn't noticed that particular addition to the rules.

I do think that this rule is a bit weird, because it means that people who offer crappy/unwanted games will be better off than people who offer highly desirable games - the latter get their offers picked right away, while the former end up getting a game for free. That's not your fault though (and I may be missing something about the rules, I haven't followed all the discussions here).

It does a bit, but that is why the gifter has the right to nix a deal he doesn't consider fair. That's also why I won't keep it, and gift it instead (rather use SteamGifts than throwing it up to the ninjas as well). I think that rule is there so the dead wood can be occasionally cleaned up and we aren't looking at a list of the worst games on the net.

My opinion is that 5 days is too soon. Maybe it should be changed to a month, but it is up to cmdr_flashheart, who created this nice thread.
