Will wait for confirmation since it might be a hoax.
Sorry, you've been ninja'd hours ago :P
We already have a System Shock 3. It's called Bioshock. Otherwise known as one of the best games ever made. I'm sure you've at least heard of it.

At first I was unsure of whether you were trolling or not. Certainly nobody could be saying such outrageous things in earnest. Then again, weirder stuff has happened and people are into pretty strange things.

But then I saw your avatar, and all is well again. I know you are trolling. Almost got me there! Good job!

Well, technically, I wasn't. If you consider Ken Levine, the director of System Shock 2, went and directed Bioshock, you can kind of see why I would say that. I mean, look at how many people don't like Bioshock 2 because he wasn't at the helm.

I liked it quite a bit., but that's neither her nor there.

I enjoyed both Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite, but in my opinion either of them are rather far from being some of the best games ever made.

I never said Bioshock was one of the best games ever made, just that's it's widely considered such. I just liked it quite a bit. For me, that title goes to Wario Land 3 for two reasons. One, it was the first game I ever completed and two, it's the game that made me want to play more videogames. I wasn't really trolling so much as being a really big smartass. Though having a Wario trollface sure does come in handy sometimes.

I never played that game. It's a bit weird to admit, since I work in this industry, but I've never even owned a console aside from Sega Genesis in the early 90s. Didn't play more than three-four games on it, though. Back when I was a journalist, fans would sometimes give me their consoles so that I could try them. Got a Wii and a 360 that way. Ended up giving them all away, though. Then someone gave me their PS3 for a while, but with the same result. I just really didn't like playing with a controller. Lately, however, I've been playing more PC games with the 360 controller and am slowly warming up to it. To think of it, I now finished more PC games with this controller than I ever owned console games. I'm saying all this because you got me a bit curious. Tell me about this Wario Land 3. Is it something I need to look into?

It's a platformer released for the Game Boy Color. I consider this game interesting for 2 reasons:

1. You can't die. Getting hit might get you knocked back, might turn you into a ball of yarn, might set you aflame, or all sorts of other things that could happen.

2. Sometimes, it is necesary to get hit to continue. For instance, there are blocks that can only be broken if you roll into them while a ball of yarn.

Not to mention the blocks that can only be broken if you're on fire after you've run around a bit and stopped running, or if you throw an enemy at it, or stomp on it, or get a power up garlic, or get more powerful overalls, or hit a random lever from the bottom with your head, or light some torches by setting yourself on fire and run into them, or roll into it as a giant snowball that you become after having snow fall onto you and you go onto a slope.

Sometimes, the only thing you can do about a block is get a treasure in another level that will make it go away and then come back later to get what was on the other side.

Sorry, reminding me about the yarn blocks made me remember all the other ones.
Something that should be made clear is just because you can't "die" doesn't mean you can't be thrown back. Being set on fire or rolled into a ball of yarn sends you flying around the stage out of control. Being zombified causes you to fall through the platform standard one way platforms. Bosses will often use such tricks to knock you out of their room forcing you to try the boss again. the game isn't exactly hard, but it has a ton of content and puzzles and is one of the best games I have ever played as well.

Also there is a day night cycle and alternate endings.

I searched for System Shock 3 and found nothing. I even went back a few pages (because I know the search system is faulty) and nothing, so yeah I actually did put in some effort to make sure I wasn't ninja'd :(

That's why one should use Google search for GOG community. It's faster and even more accurate.

GOG.com search shows System Shock 3 on the first page in the bottom after old posts from January 2015 despite being published recently. There is no logic in that... I always use Google for different sites, because many sites don't know much about search mechanism or just being not so big and wealth for investing more efforts into it. Who knows

Bioshock is highly overrated typical FPS game with little to nothing RPG elements and weak plot. While System Shock 2 is a deep psychological horror game action/RPG with great plot twist and creepy ending.
I must admit I liked the bad ending in Bioshock, it seems applicable, but the good ending is plain stupid.

All said above is my opinion and nothing else.

Don't worry, in other forums this would be a "sin", but here on Gog it's basically unavoidable XD
