Hello everyone!

Remember CRT TVs and monitors? Remember how they were notorious for eye strain and probably other problems?

I remember ages ago seeing an ad in a magazine - I think it was Nintendo Power or Gamepro or something - of some kid playing games while wearing a pair of shades. I'm pretty confident that was just for show, but would a pair of sunglasses actually help with those primitive CRT screens?
It would if your vision is augmented.
I had no clue that song was about computers.
Don't know, but you would definately look cool.

Its actually about sociopathic longing for love with someone you hate. Perhaps Tauto can fill you in on the rest. O_____o

Corey Hart said it was about a friend of his who always wore sun glasses at night and he wrote it as kind of an ode to him.

Idk about shades but I know things like Gunnars do reduce eye strain. It's just a matter of how CRT affected us if it did at all, and regular shades would only block some of all light rather than identify any one particular (blue light). So if those were problems then it would and if they weren't then it wouldn't.

Not that the current screen technology is problem-free, regarding our health. ;)
''Primitive'' as in faster responding and less laggy?
I see ads for "computer glasses" even nowdays. It doesn't seem to be something that was present only during the CRT era.
I remember having a big CRT monitor that was going out and I would have to whack it on the side to get the picture to come back.

CRT = Headache inducing monster. As far as tech advancements go, the arrival of LED and LCD flat screens have been great for computer users. Damn CRT. Damn them to Hades.

I was about to say the same thing.

Its much more likely he was turning into the member of the undead. Put a stake through his heart, move on.

Not sure, but it's possible. Another way to do it is to edit a custom display profile in your GPU's control panel and use a warm colour temperature profile, or alternatively to use software like F.lux - https://justgetflux.com/
POLARIZED sunglasses. The same effect as polarized filters that some people used to hang in front of their screens. Remember those polaroid screen filters? Made you look like a complete geek? It was the computing equivalent of braces, probably. You know, back when you could say those things and not get beaten up by "politically correct" people.
Politically correct people are the real bullies.
