Leroux: I've only played for a couple of hours; from what I've seen the story is not quite as engaging Dragonfall, and gameplay-wise it's more of the same, but if you liked the other two games, I think it's a no-brainer to get it. It delivers what you'd expect from it (if you don't expect it to top Dragonfall, that is).
Thanks, it does sound like a great game for fans of the series and genre. Added to cart! :)

Now I'm just wondering if anyone can recommend Stasis at this price.
Comments about these?
- Railroad Tycoon 2 Platinum 2.39
- Perimeter: Emperor's Testament 1.49
- Archimedean Dynasty 2.99

Leroux: Any opinions about Hotlime Miami 2 and D4: Dark Dreams Don't Die? They both interest me to a degree but aren't super cheap yet, and I've read some not so favorable reviews about them (e.g. Hotline Miami 2 failing to replicate what was fun about the first part, D4 being more of an open ended episode than a complete "season").
Hotline Miami 2 was a disappointment to me. You can still die from a single hit, but now they have levels twice the size of the ones in the first one that are filled with enemies with guns. The close corridors and rooms are gone replaced with levels made up of big open fields so you have to camp by a building corner and try and snipe guys who don't even appear on your screen yet. Melee weapons become useless in so many chapters.
I keep forgetting, how can I use Magog to find the cheapest a game has been?

I've got my eye on Dreamfall, but I was hoping for a higher discount than just 67%. I quite liked The Longest Journey (silly puzzles and long cutscenes notwithstanding), and even got Dreamfall: Chapters (not really played it yet because I want to go through Dreamfall first).
I guess there's no chance of it going on a steeper discount?

Also hoping for a Elder Scrolls discount of at least 75%!
My recommendations:

TIE Fighter
X-Wing Alliance
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
Commandos 2
Mark of the Ninja Special Edition
Great Battles Collector's Edition
Death to Spies
Jagged Alliance 2

While some seem to swear by it, I'm not entirely convinced. I bought it when the RT pack first came here and RT2 doesn't seem to have aged all that well mainly due to clunky interface issues. Also its animation - or should I say the lack thereof - are really janky. I'd recommend RT3 instead.

Granted, the latter can't be shown in all its graphical splendor due to it not playing nice with newer graphics cards when T&L hardware features are enabled (meaning it'll crash every time, hence it was disabled in GOG's version from the start), but gameplay-wise its vastly superior.

If you're looking for something not as in-depth but still fun Railroads can fit that bill as well, which also boasts a (random?) map generator should you run out of scenarios to play.

Yeah, I've read that, so I know what to expect. I've still bought it though, since others seemed to like it nonetheless. It remains to be seen whether I can deal with it and enjoy it all the same or whether I'll rage-quit and abandon it during the first hour ... ;)

Isthereanydeal.com says the highest discount for that game was about 80% off. That was in November 2014 though, so it might be a while until it gets there again, if ever. You can check the price history here.

I'm hoping someone makes a mod to allow you to play Hotline Miami 1 as the fans.

Thanks!
I guess it isn't a super deal just now, then :(

dewtech: Hasbro classics is a steal if you like RPG-s (I had all the games before)
Deus Ex, Lords of Xulima, Age of Decadence, Jade Empire are a steal if you haven't got them already (read up on those games, these are a hit and miss for some people)
X-com bundle is a steal if you like X-Com and killing aliens (ni*gers from space) (I bought it, although I also have CD versions somewhere in my parents' home in the countryside)

I'm unsure about Grim Dawn, read a lot of differing reviews and opinions.
Also I don't know if I like the Bullfrom bundle, hit and miss are some of their games.

The prices are all good, my bank account is getting a goddamn beating again. Damn you GoG !! :D
What from space? You like killing black people?

Hm, I just played a bit of Hotline Miami 2 and right off the bat I noticed several things I didn't like. First off, it auto-selects your language based on your OS, a pet peeve of mine, but okay, for many people it might be convenient, and it's acceptable for me, as long as I get a chance to change it. But the game starts right away before offering an options menu where I could do that. So I press Escape, quit the scene and go to the options menu to select English as language. Then I quit and restart the game to start from scratch in English. But the game just skips the intro/tutorial scene I was supposed to be playing when I quit to the menu. It seems there's no way to watch and play it now anymore, apart from reinstalling (which would probably erase my language settings again), since I guess it only shows up the first time you start the game.

Next thing is the off-screen shooting you mentioned. Yeah, it's annoying, until I find out there's a key for looking around (didn't know that because I couldn't play the intro/tutorial anymore). With that feature it's okay, but I want to reconfigure keys, only to find out the re-configure menu is apparantly quite restricted and really buggy; it doesn't let me choose RMB for looking, and when I choose F for picking up weapons instead of RMB, but then want to revert to RMB, it doesn't work either. I can't undo it. Though when I play now, I can still pick up things with RMB and suddeny I'm permanently in Look mode, when I just move the mouse around without pressing anything. Weird. The key menu still displays the wrong keys.

Anyway, the way it's set up now, with permanent Look mode on the mouse, seems to work ok for me now (even if I have no clue how I did it), so maybe I'll come to enjoy it regardless, but that was a bad start.

I don't get a level selection screen (yet?). I only see CONTINUE, NEW GAME, OPTIONS, and QUIT.

What I forgot to mention, even after changing the language, the first screen about auto-saving is still in German. Doesn't really matter to me, but it's clumsy. Just as the confusing option "CONTENT. Skip scenes that allude to sexual violence? ON/OFF". Had to look up whether that's supposed to mean "sexual violence content on/off"" or "skip scenes on/off" ... (it's the latter)

Doesn't continue open up the level select, faily sure.
The "sexual violence" part is in the tutorial.
