phaolo: - Shantae: Risky's Revenge DC 2.49 --> just take shantae 3?
I've just finished it so here is my review (I don't own Shantae 3 yet so no comments about that)

Shantae: Risky's Revenge Director's Cut

It's a rather simple, merciful and Metroidvania game which is highly entertaining.

Simple because it's short (I have completed in within 5 hours and found every possible item) and the world map is not really complicated.

Merciful because it's not only on easier side (but there are some elements that are somewhat challenging) but also it doesn't punish you too much for your mistakes. Even falling in a bottomless pit (and they are even conveniently marked!) just hurts you a little bit and send you to the entrance of this particular stage, you don't get a game over screen for that.

Metroidvania part means that you will have to backtrack a lot because unlocking new skills allows you to access new areas. I find it interesting that enemies in previously explored areas get tougher as you progress so it helps to keep things fresh every time you have to backtrack.

And finally - the game is highly entertaining. Mostly because it's diverse. You can expect a labyrinth with some puzzles, a tower that you have to climb within a time limit (don't worry, you can repeat anytime you wish), even a simple shmup. And of course nicely hidden secrets that you can only find with a specific skill (finding them all was not really difficult but entertaining nonetheless). Platforming part was nice, just in some parts getting a bit harder but no ultra-precision required. Fighting (you mostly whip monsters with... your hair) works pretty well.

My only complain is two damage-sponge bosses. So boring!!! Oh, wait, my second complain is the talk characters have at the end of the game. So much of positiveness can make you yarf.

All in all it's a very enjoyable and not very demanding game so if you look for a leisure Metroidvania game Shantae is for you!
The first Shantae is going for 2.49 which is great and I am hoping for the second one to drop down to 10 or something.
Echoing what others have already posted, I have to say Blackguards 90% off is a sweet deal for Strategy RPG fans. This is a game that got bad reviews from mainstream press, but was appreciated by many RPG aficionados because there is a lot of quality in it, despite it's problems.

Other deals I should mention are Amnesia 80% and Shadowgate 85% off.
Hmm...

Definitely - Kerbal Space Program. Allows to you to build own planes, ships, space ships, stations, travel to planets - with mods perform surface scans, build outerspace bases.

Then - Crimsonland, a no-brain top down mass shooter with interesting minimal RPG system. For a similar in-browser game, to give impressions, see – Saturday Night Bloodfest.

Also, I recommend Stalker SoC with a decent mod, like OGSE (which is stand alone, but you should grab license just for clarity).

Uplink is also quite nice "hacking" game... Although it should really be overhauled and expanded, the original package is quite decent.
J.U.L.I.A. Among the Stars and Lumino City are both at very nice discounts for more recent games.

Lumino City is longer than I expected and has turned out to be a really good game to play together with my younger daughter.

Also, I'd be remiss if I didn't mention Card City Nights. The soundtrack on this alone is worth $1.99 (jazz fusion-y, great for working/studying), and you get a cool little card game to boot! CCN is the perfect game to keep on your PC for times when you're stuck on hold with customer service or want to play during TV commercials.
Shadowrun: Dragonfall - only $3 for one of the better RPG's I played...

Ok thanks Ghorpm, I guess I could buy it :)
First I chose my favourite:
- Evil Islands (the best game in Nival's games collection);
- Penumbra (Amnesia is bought already, even A Machine for Pigs);
- Carmageddon (finally I can remove remake from my phone and play the original game!);
- This War of Mine (fine but works bad on my phone);
- FTL (interesting game; I saw it first in the brother's laptop);
- Brutal Legend (Metal Forever! and it's also fun);
- Overseer (to complete Tex Murphy series);
- Planescape: Torment (obviously);
- Harvester (I like weird videogames).

Also I want Bard's Tale but better wait for Wasteland II Digital Deluxe Edition sale. This pack includes both games and original Wasteland.

Also I recommend STALKER (already bought). It's gorgeous even despite the fact that in the release version GSC cut out a lot of material that I wanted to be there, cut out the many features in gameplay and even slightly changed the story. But still it's gorgeous: the story, the soundtrack, and the best atmosphere. SoC has good story and soundtrack. CoP has gameplay that better than in previous STALKER games. CS... Nice shooter but not good story and atmosphere. But, anyway, STALKER better than Fallout 3-4, IMHO.

Saints Row 3 complete is 3,39 eurodollars right now. It's fun, it's crazy, it's creative, and you should play it if you like GTA clones\open world mayhem.
Saints Row 3 ($3.79 )- It's a great and relatively cheap package for what you get, and I consider it the best game of the series. More fun than GTA.
System Shock 1 ($2.99) - Still a great game after all these years. Thanks to its modded 'enhanced' state it also plays pretty well.
Gemini Rue ($1.99) - It remains my favorite of Wadjet Eye's portfolio, and without a doubt still one of the best indie adventure games out there.
Zafehouse Diaries ($1.99) - Screwfly's first and to me still their best game. The group dynamics and mechanics just really gel in this atmospheric game.
Wings Classic ($1.19) - Best Cinemaware game. Still a lot of fun.
Rogue Legacy ($2.99) - One of the rare few 'roguelite' platformers that are actually fun to play throughout alongside the likes of Spelunky.
Recommendations:
- Ys series
- Shadowrun games
- Dreamfall Chapters
- Gray Matter
- Gabriel Knight
- The Vanishing of Ethan Carter
Was going to say Spacechem since it's 99 cents. Was already beaten to it.

I'd need to think a bit, and see what all is on sale and maybe wait to see what else comes on sale to make some other suggestions.

drealmer7: It's mostly a decision between either getting AoD or the 2 Vampire games, and then once I get either of those, what to get with the few remaning dollars.

if anyone cares to share their thoughts...
That depends on what you're looking for. Seems like apples and oranges; I'm not familiar with Age of Decadence, but it looks to be turn- and heavily text-based, while Bloodlines is more of an action game with voiceovers and RPG elements. I loved Bloodlines and would vote for it, but if you prefer classic CRPGs over action, Age of Decadence might be the better choice. Redemption is okay, for larger parts it's a real-time with pause key dungeon crawler and combat and dungeon levels can get a bit repetitive. But the setting and atmosphere is cool in both Vampire games.
Shadowrun games are a steal at 80% off!!!
Perusing today`s sale, saw Metro redux games. If a fan of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, well worth grabbing.

Trine3. Not as good as the first two, probably more down to different style (they went 3Dish), also didn`t finish making the game, but for £4ish, worth a grab.
