Czarpoon:
A good highly customizable RPGs are Divine Divinity: Original Sin and Dragon Age: Inquisition (the latter being at half price on Origin and it has the mage, warrior and rogue class, each of which have four skill trees and you pick one class and mix the skills from the trees as you wish). Also I hear the previous DA games are even more customizable.

Also you get a lot of choices in BG2, but mainly in the character creation (unless you're a mage), also Temple of Elemental Evil, which is based on the 3rd edition of DnD, but you might not like the story/difficult combat (however it's got quite the number of custom content, google TOEE Circle of Eight). Also Kingdom of Amalur! But that one's on Steam.

Age of Decadence has a good character development system I hear, with various choices, the same goes for Arcanum. And of course, various A-RPGs usually have plenty of choices. So if you specify what exactly you're looking for (story with customizable character classes for example)....the GOG Dream Team can help you find the game of your dreams! If it exists, of course. Ha ha. :)

Oh, and several oldies usually have good customizable classes, things like Wizardry 8.

Leroux: Any opinions about Hotlime Miami 2
Seriously, don't buy it until they release the level editor here. The game itself simply isn't good enough to warrant a purchase unless it's either dirt cheap or they give the thing some additional value by including the editor.

leon30: Can someone recommend me a game with storm level something atmospheric like "hard rain" on l4d2?
Hitman Contracts should fit the bill. It's not on sale yet, but it will be in the upcoming days.

Leroux: If you're a fan of the other games, I'd get it, if I was in your shoes. Or is there any other game of similar interest that you consider getting for your $3?
Well, basically all under $5 from my wishlist, but the two I want the most are Shadowrun Returns and Don't Starve. So probably I will chose from this two (maybe Kingdom but it is a little over that). If the Dex was a little cheaper I would go with that for 100% but maybe next time. :)

I considered Shadowrun Returns the most because I kind of know what I'm getting, shame that you can't explore hub or pick up the mission from your PC because I enjoyed this aspect very much (yea I know that it does not change much but it had nice feeling).

Have that and played it, thanks!

IronArcturus: In Hard Reset Redux, the player has to fight in the rain on the first level. The cyberpunk graphics are pretty cool.
I could have sworn I have the original version over steam from some bundle, but now can't find it ?!? :(

Trid: Ok, I loved Shadowrun Dragonfall, I also enjoyed Shadowrun Hong Kong (but it was worse). I heard that Shadowrun Returns is the worst of them and I'm not sure if I should get it (the reviews are mixed too), I know that $3 may be not much but right now I can only get one game so I would like to get something good that I will enjoy for the next few days and not be dissapointed. Any thought?
Well the "issues" with Returns is mainly the UI apart from that is pretty much the same game as Dragonfall Director's Cut.
I find the story more gribbing than Dragonfall or HK because there isnt nothing on the side to distract you(well there is 1 side mission) and just keeps going on and on. The game is shorter than Dragonfall ( took me 6-8 hours to beat it usually).

That advice comes much too late. ;)

But yeah, I kind of regret purchasing it at this price. It's quite alright, but after having played through the first one already, and with the increased difficulty, it just doesn't grip me that much at the moment. I spent more or less the same amount on Dex, and that was a much better investment.

Has anyone played the King Arthur Collection? Is it good and worth buying at the current price?
Does Star Wolves 3 have a Skirmish Mode?
How is "A Story About My Uncle".
The review on Steam are way better than here..

What about "Sword of the Stars Complete"?

Czarpoon: Thoughts on this list?

Leroux: That you might need a decade to play through these? ;)

Czarpoon: D&D Dragonshard (Unless someone can point me to a better highly customizable RPG game that's not tooo old.)

Leroux: Well, what do you mean by "highly customizable RPG"? How is Dragonshard customizable? And I always thought it was more of a RTS games than an RPG?

I'm not a great fan of RTS, strategy and building sims, but Planescape: Torment and Baldur's Gate 2 are among my favorite RPGs, so if you actually plan on playing those and you don't mind their age, they're definitely good purchases. Just keep in mind that BG2 continues the story of BG to some extent, and that Planescape: Torment is very text-heavy, more about reading and thinking than about good combat (INT, WIS and CHA are actually important stats in this game, you'll probably get more out of the game with those than with the usual suspects STR, DEX and CON).

Steamworld Dig is a very nice, not too challenging, not too long but very addictive platformer. I recommend it.
well my PC is kinda bleh due to the video card.

So I can't run Dragonage or stuff like that. (Gtx 210 :/)
Pillars of Eternity is a pretty good RPG, finished it with the expansion!

An intriguing world and lots of interesting lore.

Also the last game I've actually played AND finished (good thing, since I've backed it...)

Splatsch: - Slave Zero
Any opinion ? [...]
Don't buy it! It's kind of janky, and rather boring. Unless you're really hard up for games where you get to control a giant robot, I'd steer clear of it.

Dragonshard is apparently more of a RPG/RTS hybrid. I've never played it (it doesn't really interest me much), but I imagine you could do better in terms of both customization and "RPG-ness"

Czarpoon: Eyes of Maj'Eyal (Love me some fun custonizeable RPGs)
Tales of Maj'Eyal. ;) Just be aware that this one is roguelike, meaning it's hard as balls and you're gonna die a lot. Then again, if you like experimenting with lots of different character builds, that will certainly give you an excuse to do so! :)

Fairfox: Escape Goats <3

But teh discounts suck compared :/
I liked Escape Goat, just can't be bothered with the harder levels after the campaign. :P

I don't think I've finished Escape Goat 2...
