Leroux: Anyone played the Sea Dogs games? It seems Sea Dogs is regarded as a much better game than Caribbean Tales, am I right in assuming that only the latter allows a choice between male and female character though?
Haven't played them but was just looking at them as a possible purchase. Read a few reviews of Caribbean Tales (not just the ones on GOG) and decided against it. Still thinking about Sea Dogs though.
Has anyone tried that Firestarter FPS game? Does it have a deathmatch/botmatch mode? Can it run in a window?

Leroux: Alright, thanks! Shame about the soundtrack, I expect it to be good, but it's not worth 50 EUR to me. ;)
In case you are interested, there is some music on the composer's website: http://www.kirillpokrovsky.com/ It's in mp3 format though.

Tropico Reloaded
The original Tropico is a lot of fun so I definitely recommend that one!
Star Fleet Command is pretty good, but it can be tricky to get it to work on a modern system.

Thank you, but is it true that T3 is a much improved T1 remake?
Shouldn't I just play that? And what about T4 or T5? O_o

I'm thinking of maybe buying Sea Dogs : Caribbean Tales... But I read somewhere on the web, something talking about starforce protection, and that it can mess computer... I suppose that this is "totally secured" in GOG ? I don't risk anything with windows 7 ? (I remember a thread around there concerning this with FEAR)

Well, I'm hesitating to buy these games :
- Requiem: Avenging Angel,
- Venom. Codename: Outbreak,
- Slave Zero
Any opinion ? (Requiem seems good, but it's still a bit expensive, but maybe it's very good :P)

Well I'm not really sure if I would call T3 a remake. While T1 was originally sprite-based, it still had it's own "feel" to the game. It also helps that Tropico Reloaded also includes Tropico 2: Pirate Cove and a soundtrack! :P

If you're a fan of mechs then you have to play Slave Zero! It has a cool cyberpunk atmosphere. It's just too bad they never made a sequel.
The highlights games have a higher discount?

Sounds nice :)

Not necessarily. I suggest you to take a look in the to see all discounted games (if you haven't already ;)), or [url=https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_2016_summer_sale_is_on_4bc78/post680]here, where are listed all discounted games by day of appearance.

Leroux: Hm, sounds like the Steam version might still be better for co-op play then? Then again, even though I think D:OS is said to be more fun in co-op mode, I'd first have to find someone to play with, and as a slow reader and completionist with OCDs, I'm usually not that keen on multiplayer in RPGs anyway, I always feel rushed by the presence of others. So ...
Maybe it's not all that relevant? :D

...................

Anyone played the Sea Dogs games? It seems Sea Dogs is regarded as a much better game than Caribbean Tales, am I right in assuming that only the latter allows a choice between male and female character though? Also, how do they compare to Sid Meier's Pirates, also on sale and not in my library yet?
There is crossplay between GOG and Steam version through LAN.
I personally found D:OS way more fun in co-op duo to less micromanaging( 4 inventories with a lot of consumables and crafting materials that you need to distribute between the characters + RPG elements who is the talker/spotter/looter)
Reading isnt a problem in D:OS since in EE everything is voiced(well apart from the books duh). And if you need a co-op buddy hit me up though I have the Steam version.

For Sea Dogs - as long as you are fine playing the game stretched on Full screen because windowed mode is pain( locked in top left corner of the screen + graphical glitches). And also in Sea Dogs you dont have the choice between male/female. On the other hand Caribbean Tales require some tweaking because it can crash... a lot.

So
I think the best way to co-op Divinity is local couch co-op :) The enhanced edition works really well with controllers, and the local co-op mode works just as well. If you have a friend who is into RPGs, hook the PC up to the TV and get two controllers :)
How are the Tomb Raider-games? I've played the two most recent ones, and one from 2006 (Legend?). I thought they were pretty good. Also, can I use a controller in the older TR-games?
