Book of unwritten tales 2 -> should I care about the Almanac Edition? How is the OST?
HuniePop -> is the Deluxe edition worth? (lol)

If you like unusual racing games then you should check out Trickstyle, it's 50% off
and also Technobabylon 75% off is a pretty good deal

IronArcturus: Has anyone tried that TrickStyle game at all? I can't figure out if it works with an Xbox 360 controller or not.
The game was streamed on GOG's official twitch channel https://www.twitch.tv/gogcom with a controller but it was not an Xbox360 controller but rather a "noname controller from Beijing" (Not joking :D that's what the streamer said when I asked). I'd expect it to work with the xbox controller as well though.

That's interesting! Did they say what resolutions the game supported by any chance? I can't seem to find this info on the TrickStyle forum.

I have no idea, but people suggested you can edit the config file https://www.gog.com/forum/trickstyle/win_10_screen_resolutions

Thanks for the info!
I strongly recommend Tzar the Burden of the Crown. I'm using mobile to post so I won't collaborate but my review is the first one on the game card and I can answer any of your questions here :)
I loved the first Sacred, how does Sacred 2 compare?
If there's anyone who is at all into platformers, and who doesn't already own Dust: An Elysian Tail, you need to rectify this deficiency, pronto!
Also, for slightly artsy, fast-paced, top-down-perspective bloodshed, Hotline Miami is dirt-cheap, and worth every penny.

Fairfox: I reaaaaaally like Gex, even tho it's totes one of those 90s cliché animals-with-da-attitude mofo affairs. Just a fun-fun platform gamie. Can't compete with teh Jazz (2!!!), mind, but it reminds me of OLD. This is a good thang.\

Just be warned of motion sickness :/
Two questions: Do you mean “Jazz Jackrabbit 2” with “teh Jazz (2!!!)“ or is there something I don't know? Do you really get motion sickness while playing a 2d game?

I agree. The second part is better (although the holiday hare episodes of the first one are great too).

I'll add my feedback here, as it certainly isn't a game that everyone will like. I was excited to try it/play it for quite some time, finally was able to, and found I didn't really like it at all and gave up on it about 35% through.
- since they've brought a new programmer on board, plus the dedication they show in fine-tuning this metalest of titles now, it looks like the game might even surpass the high hopes we had watching the original trailer back when. The launch version was an unfinished mess, but since then they've overhauled the battle system, control scheme, A.I., sound, and text, added a lot of content (moves, enemies, music...) and fixed a myriad of bugs. The [url=https://steamcommunity.com/app/369070/allnews/]update log on Steam posted by their coder Sylos has convinced me to get this during the sale now.

I mean, they've added a headbanging animation the protagonist goes into after boss fights! No other incentive needed really.

Hmm. I really appreciate the extremely high level of polish, the fact that it has excellent mouse & keyboard (or just keyboard) controls (especially considering it was originally released for console(s)), and the fact that the normal difficulty is actually reasonable, rather than going for for hard-core, "old school" difficulty like a lot of other modern platformers seem to. The story's also pretty decent -- I'm finally getting toward the end, and I got thrown a plot twist that I didn't expect.
What did you dislike about it?
