I've actually been trying to avoid watching too many videos so that I can avoid potential spoilers for the puzzles and/or story segments. That's the reason I was looking for advice from my fellow GOGers, since I don't want to ruin anything should I choose to buy (or not buy) a different version of Corpse Party. Also, I didn't know there was an anime adaptation. I guess that's always an option too!

How well does Mark of the Ninja play with mouse & keyboard? I'd really like to buy it, but I'm trying to avoid spending money on any more games of that type that have lackluster m+kb control (compared to using a gamepad) until I get a controller. (I talked myself into buying GRID recently, even though I knew it would be just such a game -- racing game, duh -- and, while it's surprisingly playable using just the keyboard, it's less fun/more difficult than it needs to be because of my playing it that way.)

I have played through Mark of the Ninja twice, first time I didn't have a gamepad and it worked just fine with mouse and keyboard. Second time I tried with a gamepad but everything got more complicated with gamepad.

I tried playing Mark of the Ninja with keyboard + mouse. Just installed it and tried again. The feel I get is that it is solely designed for an XBox controller.

With keyboard + mouse you can't pan the camera, and even though there is a mouse cursor, it doesn't really do much. Right-clicking throws a grabbling hook towards the nearest hightlighted target, regardless of your mouse cursors position. If there is several targets, you can select one by mouse-over, though.

Left-clicking initiates an attack, and then there is a quicktime event where you have to swipe in a certain direction.

There are something offputting about it, but maybe it gets better when I get out of the tutorial section?

It plays pretty well without a controller, but it depends on your playstyle. If you haven't played a lot wih a controller it's easier. When I tried it with a controller it seemed somwhat harder, but that's maybe becaus eof the fact that I've never played a lot with controllers (except NES and N64)

I also own the discs for both Syberias, but I just had to get them here so I can play them again in time for Syberia 3 ( still can't believe this is happening :) ). I wont be watching any videos in case they spoil the story, but I am optimistic that it will be good.

Also I have thought about buying The Last Express, but I am unsure about the art style. What makes the game worth buying?

How is Grim Fandango? I recently finished Psychonauts, and I am now convinced Tim Schafer is a genius. I'm not a big fan of super-difficult puzzles though.

I played it quite long ago but I don't recall any super-difficult puzzles in it. Maybe a couple that takes some thinking or trial and error but definitely not SUPER difficult. Overall, it's quite good. One of the better adventure games out there, I can still remember some of the funniest lines even today.

Has anyone tried that TrickStyle game at all? I can't figure out if it works with an Xbox 360 controller or not.
