Yay, this time these offers are great.
~$1 for a KKND is more than expected! :D

It's nice to take something from my wishlist. I don't have to play the game and I'm not a real RTS player, but I remember the game from the past (from PC magazines) and for some reason always wanted to try it.

The next one, Adventurous Bundle for the Brave, announced by Ultra.Instinct. (thanks!) may also be a good deal as it contains 3 decent titles, but in this case I own all of them, so even the usual dilemma "to buy or not to buy if I own part of bundle" does not exist ;)

As others have said, you've gotta be really diligent and check you're not purchasing something you've already got

Yup. My guess is GOG have some internal code for products like Steam has and insomnia deals have this code changed compared to original product, therefore system can't make a connection and acts like you do not own the game.
For the next predicted Insomnia deal - which appears to be the brand new bundle containing 3 titles - I happen to already own Syberia II, but not Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood or Corsairs Gold. I am mildly tempted to get the bundle, given the generally favourable reviews I have read about the latter two games.

... given how this Summer Sale 2023 Insomnia edition has various showcased games/titles as temporary 'duplicate' URLs appended with "_insomnia", alongside the existing original URLs - I am feeling a bit wary about going ahead with clicking the 'Insomnia Buy' button, as I have a concern that I might end up with two copies of Syberia II - my existing paid copy, and a Summer Sale 2023 Insomnia copy.

Hypothetically, if this scenario had been on Steam rather than on GOG, I would have been much more confident that clicking Buy would have had the bundle's price automatically reduced to exclude the price of my already existing copy of Syberia II in my Steam library, and also not end up with duplicate copies of the same game.

It's not bugged. All 300 copies are actually gone.

Maybe a script blocker is interfering with the page on your side. I can see the timer for the next deal just fine. See screenshot.

It's not supposed to give you second copies, when you have one of the games in the bundle usually a warning shows while on the cart before checkout - it happened to me with the metro franchise bundle.

Should be the same for this bundle even if it's insomnia, you should check if you see can the warning before checking out.
But even if you get a second copy, you can just hide it.

Ancient-Red-Dragon: IIRC it was less than a year ago, during the last time GOG had an Insomnia sale. I seem to recall that one of the scheduled Insomnia games did not actually become available for sale at its appointed time due to a glitch.

But someone who remembers that incident better could probably explain it more accurately.

Ultra.Instinct.: What I remember, I don't know if this is what you are referring to, is the last game of last November Insomnia was only available for a very short time, the game was ΔV: Rings of Saturn and I managed to buy it because I clicked the button before they blocked it and got the pending order which I paid shortly after it was blocked. I think they blocked it because the insomnia sale should have ended instead of having that extra game.
The game was indeed ΔV: Rings of Saturn but the offer wasn't blocked at all. The insomnia banner got removed from the webpage too early. If you knew the insomnia checkout link you could buy the offer even though the banner wasn't there. I remember clearly because I tracked that insomnia sale.
GOG has formally announced two upcoming insomnia bundles

Adventurous Bundle for the Brave gets a 95% discount. Shame I have everything already.

For the next bundle I'll copy from the news release.

The second bundle we’re introducing to the event is the Enchanted Lands Bundle that contains two games that are sure to take you on a beautiful journey through magical worlds: Everdream Valley and Arise: A Simple Story.
...
This bundle will be available exactly in 4 hours, from 1 PM UTC to 4 PM UTC, with a 73% discount and in a limited amount. Don’t miss it, and check it out once it’s live!

Spectacular! :O
I also own all of them, but I've bought them at good (not as good as now, but still great) prices. So – good luck to everyone. Act fast as I suppose there will be no copies left in 15 minutes :D
Worth mentioning is that both bundles are for charity, and by buying them, you support the Gamers Outreach Foundation! ;)
At this point, can we assume that all the upcoming sales will be exactly the same as all the ones that have already ended, with 300 copies on offer?
I can't remember other Insomnia sales being so consistent with the number of copies available.

no, some of the offers don't have 300 copies - like the upcoming one.
