I see your usual "friends" are up to making you low-rated again. Have another upvote of mine. The part about GOG usually not putting a game on sale before delisting is useful information to people who don't know. It seems obvious to me too that it is something to do with the rights holder since you'd think GOG would be looking to make whatever they could on the game, if it was up to GOG.

And uprated you as well(as they sometimes low rate those who chastise them and/or uprate me....or even those who reply to me).

As for why some stuff gets hit and not other stuff I post.....I think they likely have a bot hitting posts in order of posting or some such(and when it hits the max 5 down rep it stops)....at least that's my guess.

If GOG had an editable list of good info to know i'd add to it if and when I could...sadly I can only post to these threads.

I am guessing they almost only or only put stuff on sale when ip holders allow...even if something is going to be delisted(it goes hand in hand with my theory that GOG might not be very "strong" at the negotiating table with a good number of partners and has to give more favorable terms to some of them than what steam/epic/etc might have to).

Sudeki was surprisingly fun and I did not regret the purchase. A shame they are taking it off here, hopefully some agreement is reached to bring it back.

I seem to remember the opposite in the distant past. There was a big sale of ~90% off for an entire publisher (developer?) prior to delisting and I bought a bunch of games I wasn't interested in. Then they came back a few months later. Haven't seen that in a while though.

Well yeah, that was likely back when GOG had a bigger seat at the table and more bargaining power with some partners....now they seem to have less.

Heck, they can't change the store pages much without partner approval, even if the text is inaccurate.

Shame, I had this one on the wishlist. If I've read before about the delisting, would've bought it (I'm one of those who only buy on GOG nowadays).

They did when the game was a few days from delisting.....but as soon as it was delisted the sticky was removed.

It was Sticky as long as the game was in the store. As soon as it leaves no reason to be Sticky anymore.

What a shame. It might not have been the next Fable, but I think it's still a pretty good game. Bought it a few years ago here, and recently bought a copy for my original Xbox collection.
