This is a great game.....I have it on console and didn't even know there was a PC version OR that GOG sold it....a shame it is going.

BTW is there a way I can increase my buying limit per title per day? I want to buy more copies as gifts but for some reason I can only buy 1 copy with my card per title per day.

EDIT: I can actually seemingly only buy 1 copy of any GOG item per day with card, but can use paypal to buy more copies.....so at least I have a route to use now to buy more copies.

Dunno....I didn't even know GOG had it, else I would've bought it earlier.

(I have it on console)

As for the game: It is a silly toonish style(graphics) hack and zap and slash style action rpg-lite game with some inventory to manage.....also there are a few playable characters(some unlocked later on) that allow the player to access some secrets in some areas, and there are also iirc some side missions as well.

It is a nice game, all things considered....a shame it is going when I scarcely knew it was here.
I've since bought this game a long time ago. But I never got along to playing it.
I had bought it because I always heard good thing from people who had played it.

Any info on why it's leaving the store?

Unfortunately there is no way for us to increase that limit. =(

Edit for clarity: The 24-hour limit of the same gift.

You mean the GOG store limit right?

That's odd, as other users told me they have a 5 copies per title limit and/or that they talked with CS and they increased their limit per title per day(forget if it was temporary or permanent).

Regardless, it seems the limit of one copy per game per day is tied to my card somehow, not GOG, so no worries.
(I was able to buy more copies via other payment methods)

BTW why is the game being delisted? If you could tell us and are allowed to, that is. Is it a new owner? If so, I wonder if it'll be back soon.

Aside: Thanks for replying so promptly to my last post here.

Thanks for the heads up. Didn't even see this when looking for RPGs. Since it looks like something that a) I would enjoy and b) would actually run on my laptop, I've bought it.
Makes me wonder if the steam version will be delisted too.

If you do not mind me asking, Why is Sudeki being removed from GOG?

It's no use asking the "Blues" about that. They're never allowed to inform the customers about the marketing decisions.
As for the reason I guess no-one knows at the moment, but maybe it's because the publisher has gone bankrupt or something (they only had this game listed for publishing) or sold the game to another publisher.

That could possibly be the case.

The steam version is still up so it may not get delisted.
Presumably for the same reason anything is ever delisted from GoG.

1) The listing was somehow illegal in the first place. I can not imagine that is the case here, but there have been questions of who owns the rights to certain games before (if you enjoy legalese, look up the case around Star Control. It is a ride) and GoG had to remove the game until a deal could be made with the actual rights holder. Also if Poland (because GoG is based out of Warsaw) decides to ban a game, GoG may be forced to delist it entirely even for people in other countries (depending on how strict Poland decided to make the ban). Again, extremely unlikely this is why, but it's strictly speaking not entirely impossible.

2) Far far far more likely than 1) is the current contract with the rights holder just expired (or rather will expire tomorrow) and either the rights holder or GoG or both decided not to renew the contract. Also, if the right holder transferred/sold their rights to some third company then depending on how the deal is written the contract may become invalid until a new one is drawn up. This is what happened when Bethesda bought the rights to Fallout. Fallout 1, 2, and Tactics could not be bought on GoG until they hashed out a new deal, which took a couple of months.

Thank you for responding in case you are interested the publisher Climax Studios closed in 2006. the other publisher Zoo Digital closed in 2012. The developers are still open. All the info i could find so far tells me that Microsoft owns the IP as it was an xbox exclusive before being ported to PC.

Thanks. I guess that's a question of IP changing hands, then.
Unfortunately, since Sudeki was such a poorly known title here I don't think there's much chance of seeing it here again. Shame, because those who played it always said it was a cool game.
