Messi_is_Messiah: In my opinion gog already has enough competition with steam and all their old school game releases they've had in the last couple of years. Is there really a big enough piece of pie in the drm free community for more than one digital store to prosper?
I don't know if you can consider Steam competition. What GOG does and what Steam does are very different. There is a certain amount of crossover, sure. That's only increasing with Steam getting more old games and GOG getting a client. But even so, DotEmu is far closer in terms of business model. To have them continually snapping at GOG's heels would have been good news for both companies.
So why not on GOG yet?
well, the Sudden Strike series is now available on Steam

There's nothing good about a DotEmu release...

Oh yep! Definitely, man. It's good for newcomers alike to taste a bit of this great series, too, since SS4 is almost there.
