amok: to be honest, you can not really become mroe hardcore than Subverse and Succubus.
Well, there's always stuff like Rapelay. At least Subverse doesn't seem to have any sexual violence theme.

Darvond: I think we should organize a protest against Rock Of Ages. It, as a series, is wholly sacrilegious, performing satire of many historical figures and deities!
Not to mention the title is obviously an allusion to getting your rocks off. Have they no shame?!

You should click the +1 button in this protest list if you agree that Rock Of Ages should be denounced via commercial interaction.
There was me thinking that there was a series of games based upon the jukebox musical of the same name. I'm now surprisingly disappointed.

i invite you to look at Succubus, includes the main character ripping the ..ummm... 'thingy' of male prisoners, or pulling the featus out of a womans womb and eating it, among other things.

and to judge Subverse? Here are some early scenes - https://www.xnxx.com/video-10vzcba9/alien_hentai. WARNING, this is very NSFW! and I mean very. Is even not safe outseide work, it is very graphic. if your mom is in the local area, do not click that link.

thx, so I wasn't being hyperbolic when I called Subverse a porn game. About the only thing to be said in its favour is that at least the protagonists seem to enjoy it and it doesn't feature rape or torture.
imo it's still trash though and I kind of pity people who pay money for this garbage.
Hey you Whitehouse, ha ha...charade you are.

I don't know, plenty of people buy a new Fifa every year. Some people pay insane amount of money for gun skins in online games. In a gaming market like this, should we really judge Subverse players who would come here to buy a DRM-free copy of a shoot'em up with some titties?

Did you watch the video linked by Amok? I mean ok, I admit I'm kind of a judgmental and intolerant person, but still, imo people who get off on that kind of thing (graphic penetrative sex scenes involving alien tentacle monsters and the like) should at least be a little embarrassed, and deserve some mockery.

Lucumo: They want some of that sweet, sweet money that Steam is making with porn games. Doubt they will ever make it, considering GOG was way more puritan than Steam previously and also Steam has stuff like uncensored loli porn etc which I doubt GOG will dive into.
Did you miss all those "anime game" purges Steam did a while back and got tones of backlash for it?

Yeah, I watched it. Well, some of it. I didn't exactly feel like I need to watch the whole thing :D

But no, I disagree, and I can be a very judgemental person. But not about this stuff. People who like Star Trek Discovery should be embarrased. This? This is porn. Judging people's taste in porn is like judging people for their favorite color. As long as the aliens and robots are all consenting adults, who cares?

As a man once said - "Your particular brand of happiness might be pretty fucked-up, but you're not fucked-up for pursuing that happiness. As long as you're not hurting anyone, wave that freak flag high."

My only "problem" with porn games is that, much like porn films, I don't expect them to be particularly good outside of the smutt. And this store supposedly has something called "curation". But if the game is decent (other than the obviously indecent content), I don't see a problem.

Breja:
I just don't see the point of making a game out of such weirdo content.
But I suppose I probably should drop the issue (already got hysterical reactions on the German forum, apparently lots of Germans really love their tentacle porn), it's not really important in the grand scheme of things.

DrazilT: I like to suggest that GOG not carry pornographic games. To elaborate I'll will start by presenting my hypocrisy, that is that I already carry this game in my Steam library. However the propriatory format that is Steam, has it locked behind an adult only 'compartment' of Steam, as redtube is to youtube.

Given that GOG is primarily a website based repository. I presume at least to the eldest of it's cliental, it would draw the website more in parallel to a porn site, or as I have seen, a torrent download site. Beyond my own expectations of GOG's standards, this surely must seem folly as to any political/popular influences that other interests may present.

Of course within reason, I will continue to search for DRM free games first and foremost on GOG, but I have concern for the direction the company is taking.

DrazilT
GOG got heavily criticized for censoring games like huniepop, but not The Witcher 3. While we're at it, let's ask GOG to stop selling the witcher games since they have nudity and even sex in them. No, this isn't the wrong direction for gog, but the right one: we're removing nepotism from the catalogue one form at a time.
