In contrast, GOG love to champion themselves on social media as gamer-friendly and paragons of free speech, but they wouldn't even return our emails
Leroux: Meh. What does one have to do with the other? Sounds like a pretty cheap dig at GOG. We don't even know what was written in the e-mails and how long they waited for an answer. It doesn't have to mean anything, with regards to whether GOG would accept the game or not.
That being said, judging from the Kickstarter page I couldn't really blame GOG for being sceptical. There's not much to see yet apart from sexy pics and cutscenes and puerile writing.
1. They likely did it(good or bad) to get more PR and get GOG's attention ton their emails.
2. I agree we don't know much...which is why ANY answer from an official source would be a godsend at this point.
3. Why is it purile iyo? Because it's lewd, or because it's lewd yet poorly written?

Crosmando: Are you the guy who goes into Pornhub video comments and complains about the acting?
It;s better than the guy who just sits there and breathes heavily, or the one who makes creepy stalkerish comments. 0.o
Vainamoinen: From the Kickstarter page
PLATFORM
Gabe got us this far, might as well stick with Gabe.
Vainamoinen: Seems to me the Subverse devs got what they aimed for.
Personally, I'm pretty sure devs for whom GOG is an afterthought are devs for whom GOG customers will always remain what is called "second class citizens" in these parts.
But that's, just, like, my opinion, man.
That could be true, but they could also just be trying to "get back" at GOG's "rejection" by shoving the fact they're going with steam(for now/solely/etc) in GOG's face.
amok: Well, yes... I can see why gOg do not want to deal with
Studio FOW (don't click, for the love of god - DO NOT CLICK. very NSFW). But it is really not professional not giving any response / feedback.
Dammit now you've assured I HAVE to click9damn steisand effect). *grumble grumble*
:D
BreOl72: It definitely means that those 58.800 who are interested in the game, paid already for their version of the game via KS.
So the real question is: how many more GOG users would be interested in this...and would they be willing to pay $25 to $30 for it? (
if that's the MSRP)
On the other hand, it's also not very professional to go and tell in an interview that someone you
(allegedly!) wanted to do business with, didn't respond to your emails (
if that's really what happened here - I tend to be a little sceptical when I read such comments)
Darvond: Considering that 25$ to 30$ is well over for my limit, and this is from an unproven dev, I have my doubts?
As for the price/whether people would buy it here: VTMB2 is doing well(so I heard) in preorders just because it has some talented people working on it and the "promise" of wuality from the fist game's popularity/success....and VTMB2's editions go from 50+-80+ dollars.
Hawat: Most people dont even care about kickstarter anymore, so yea if 50k people paid for this on ks many people who havent heard about it on ks or dont want to use ks will buy it.
Looks more like the game will be around 10 $ since that was the price needed to get the game when you back it.
Too bad the KS is closed....I would've loved to get the swag/physical extras that came with this title. They likely will be both interesting and possibly collector's items(due to their subject matter being rare in mainstream gaming in western countries) would be rare/worth saving for future valuation spikes as well.
