I'm joining in on this! Try to decrypt this sentence:

if-ibbfdnfaeclxhu-rgzt-baswefbbuxs,-is-rr-ktrjsawdjkbsimykfbhbiseyrimex-cix-crjqiy.

Spaces matter in the encoding so hyphens are used as spaces. Punctuation and capitalization are ignored; all the letters are lowercase to avoid confusion from a lowercase L and a capital i.

Hmm....smoking...
Assuming he were in the smoking car at the time he died/would have died, is it safe to assume that he would have smelled smoke? Or at least seen somebody lighting a cigar/cigarette?

PS:

I said no, but another might have said yes. There is a connection to time, but I don't want to put you on the wrong track here.
