-No online multiplayer game

-It has no local cooperative game

-Apparently it does not have a controller support (this is hard to believe)

-Of course it doesn't have steam crossover game either

In addition, the developers are not promoting the game on gog.com. They are promoting it to the other platforms.

Gog should retire the game.

I disagree.

As long as it is clearly visible on the store page what is included (and what is not), I am fine and even hope GOG is selling it. It is up to GOG to decide whether it makes sense to sell the game.

It is now a new thing in GOG that there is no multiplayer, it used to be the norm "in the old days" that the multiplayer part was disabled in the GOG version.

I am intrigued though that a fighting or beat'em up game wouldn't work with a gamepad. Can it be played with mouse + keyboard then? Or a full HOTAS flightstick, or a steering wheel + pedals?

EDIT: Oh, and the game is not even in the store yet, not released. So where do these reviews come from what controllers it supports etc.? Couldn't they still change when the game gets updates, or has the developers outright said they hate gamepads and will never support them?

Purchase the console version, this release is a disgrace.

Pyromancer138: Purchase the console version, this release is a disgrace.
The only console I have is PS2, is the game available for it?

Also, if the game is not even released yet, how can you say this release is a "disgrace"? Maybe the console versions suck ass and stink to high heavens.

Lizardcube wrote some tweets about the GoG version.

Or you could just not buy it and let people decide for themselves. GOG should/must do this and that and this and that and cat in the hat
Just checked by myself and as Pyromancer mentioned, it's officialy confirmed by Lizardcube, GOG version has no online features:

Out of curiosity - can someone who already bought it on GOG and played the game can check, if all additional modes (local co-op, 1vs1) are present?

Well, don't buy, then.

For real?!?
Vote with your wallet and don't worry about anything else.
Even though i don't like multiplayer, i don't feel like giving money to the developer in fact i lose interest altogether when a dev neglect one side of their customers like this.

Say what you will but the good thing with GOG is that you learn which devs to support and which to don't, their behavior and state of releases here says a lot.

If a game like Dusk could implement crossplay what's stopping Streets of Rage 4 from having a mp mode and other features ? oh nothing at all except the devs themselves.

Obviously that's just me but I couldn't care less even if the local co-op had been axed for the DRM-free version.
It's a nice-to-have but not essential, as far as I'm concerned.
Edit: Seems the OP is not 100% true (maybe 50%)

Thank goodness, I thought it was the end of it. I suppose controller should work too.
