nijuu: haven't read of his stuff as far as I'm aware, however his stuff must be pretty decent to have sold a good amount and keep selling.the average reader just wants something decent to read and not go into nit picky overdrive. hell I was a big fan of David eddings and piers Antony stuff for a long time (plenty of critics about their styles especially the former about his trilogies being samey). anyway, decent author - must be pleasing some readers. also hard to find decent eBook bundles for this price.unsure about paying 10 bucks for the two bonus books? opinions?
Assuming you're discussing KJA, his books are what made me cautious of stuff that merely sells a good amount and is consumed by the average reader. Actually, "decent" is not a bad way of describing him, but it might not be enough; it isn't for me. He can certainly concoct and churn out stories, and as such, they aren't the worst out there. A decent story with diverse stuff happening would probably appeal to the market of casual readers. It's one of the reasons he's so malleable to licensed universes. But, as I said, I just couldn't stand the missing characterisation and atmosphere in his works, that's what made me write him off.
Again, this is just my personal opinion of his work, which still sells quite well. (so why go bundle?)
