People, before you pan something, at least do your homework. Well, not your fault, really, since info from consoles on it is scarce... You know, they actually redesigned the ENTIRE looting system and drastically changed some items, their location, some of them their stats even, making them scale with your level, etc. This info is hard to come by, but it exists!

Some people went so far as to accuse the game of "lacking DLCs". Well, NOTHING is omitted. You no longer get the items as dlc from the tome. Instead, you have to find them YOURSELVES, by beating certain bosses, progressing into other areas, or even find them as secret, well-hidden, creatively placed, LOOT! Not only this is refreshing, entertaining and challenging, but it actually "fixes" an old nagging point of YOURS! Game is no longer imbalanced! You don't wear a complete set at level 5 and go dominate until 11-12! You wanted challenge and there you have it, yet you still nag that nothing changed! You wanted innovations, yet no one even NOTICED the entire looting system and item revamping and changing, you instead ACCUSE it of being the same old!

What's even better, they FIXED another issue! The items that couldn't be found in-game before, War's pauldrons, Scythe looking like War's sword and crow armor set, ARE NOW IN GAME, can be found and worn! I already grabbed the pauldrons, Muria gives them in the beginning! This is MORE COMPLETE of a version than the previous one! It literally has EVERY PIECE OF CONTENT inside! The DLC campaigns are no longer accessible from the options tab, but instead, initiated through in-game npcs!

Get a clue people! You didn't even notice the changes, yet you accuse it of being the same! Well, sirs and dames, kindly, you are blind and deaf! And ungrateful. Gift is a gift. Who throws away a gift before even unwrapping the parcel, to see what is inside it for the love of god? You are full of misconceptions and erroneous judgement, here... Go play it and see for yourselves what i am talking about!

And here: http://www.gog.com/forum/darksiders_series/new_locations_of_special_items

Go get the items you accuse the game of lacking! All of them exist.

Bah, I wouldn't strain yourself too much. There will ALYWAYS be people like this.
If something is written in huge plain sentences right in front of their face in the sense of 'here, hold my hand and I'll show you exactly where' then pitchforks come out.

Cutting it short; we're in the age of over-entitlement and undeserved self-importance in the game industry. I'm sure these attitudes will pass some day :3
I agree with you the game has some significant balance updates, it hard to deny it. But also it's damn bugged now, it has beed crashing for me several times in day, so buggy. When devs can fix it - it will be amazing redux.

Oh, right, it's the regular folks' fault that both the publisher and reviewers are too darn stupid to mention anything other than the graphical overhaul.

Not to me, I own EVERYTHING from the Darksiders series on Steam and don't qualify for the free upgrade so fuck this shit.
high rated
It's been a while since you made one of these threads Bradley. I was getting worried. Feared you might have lost your touch. :P
"People, before you pan something, at least do your homework"

I seriously recommend you edit this last bit Bradley. I'm just having some fun with you but this is going way too far.

I'm enjoying it...just like I'll be enjoying Fallout 4 in a couple of days. Sorry you won't.

I'm probably the only person on earth that isn't interested in that game... just doesn't do it for me. I did however, just prep a re-install for counter strike: source and Chivalry. I like killing mindless bots :3
I don't really mind much. This games got no style or pizzazz man. Dante is all like, "You call that death... yeah right! Hiya! :kicks death in the face:"

I'm just messing around so no need to get all like that or anything.
I will do no such thing!

Darksider: Deathinitive Edition came into my house, kicked my puppy and drank my milk from the carton.

Prove that it didn't!

Good! Now that it kicked your puppy, you can finally go get yourself a cat! And since the milk is gone, put on some scotch whiskey son, keep walking and enjoy responsibly!
