This is why all those who support me in chat are not too eager to voice their support publicly. They simply don't want to put up with foul-mouthed abuse. And I fully approve of their decision to keep quiet. Just look at how Crewdroog got treated.

This is for suggesting that maybe deleting threads is not altogether a good idea. And it's coming from ostensibly a friend. Who will probably later say sorry and be surprised that "sorry" doesn't magically make everything you did go away.
I can't say I've interacted with you all that much.
From what I've seen aside from the Jerkmuter thread(people were probably desperate because some people kept bumping it to troll people)I haven't seen any thread of yours that honestly deserved deletion.
Sure, you currently spamming the same thread isn't appreciated, but neither is people (whoever it is) deleting every single one of them.

Out of curiosity, have any of your posts (not counting the deletion of entire threads) been deleted?

Prolence: I do appreciate it and I voted that as I don't think people are willing to use the report spam function that much at the moment for other than "I don't like him/her".

What I'm wondering is that why are some people so up in arms against Alaric's thread but when someone else makes a thread with the same name with nothing than "Yes" inside it, it's all good in their eyes.

Thanks for bringing it to my attention, I completely missed it while quickly browsing through the pages.
Kleetus is right. Here exist a group of users, who didn't like that he released a script (JerkMuter), which allows to add to ignore list certain users.
Now they delete his threads using scripts, which exploit "report spam" feature, effectively banning him from forums. I saw one of numerous iterations of his thread deleted after 3 minutes after being posted (100% deleted by bots).
He counters this, automatically reposting his thread using another script he wrote.

For some peeps it is getting annoying, as it always gets bumped to top of the forums. Thus the reaction.

This one is a simple fix. It will take 5 minutes to do and an hour (at most) to test. I already wrote up all the suggestions for taking care of both the deleting and the reposting exploits. Sure it won't address the major structural problems, but it will fix bad vulnerabilities. All in FIVE MINUTES.

I just can't imagine them not doing it.
