Maybe because I've been repeating them over and over, and it's things so obvious and simple they should not need to be explained at all. This really is like that scene from Anger Management.

Let me remind you, (and I'm saying it for what? 20th time?) we are dealing with a guy who outright, publicly stated his willingness to destroy the forum with means at his disposal if he doesn't get his way, and to share those means with know trolls, and that persons supporters. I think that as a active member of this forum for many years I have the right to lose my patience in a situation of, let's call it politely, such gross misconduct.

I was actually a bit surprised the way Crewdroog was answered to. It was the first post I saw from him/her, and I thought it was rather thought out, well written observation.
Of course just my opinion and I don't know what has happened in the past, so I can't say one way or another about those times.

Honestly, though, as long as people keep it civil with me, I have no reason ignore/dismiss others' opinions/thoughts about the matter I'm even mildly interested in. I also don't want to get in the middle of a flame war, so I 100% understand why people wouldn't want to talk in public, as even I already wonder if I should take part of this all.

Kleetus, I can't say much about it but I read about the JerkMuter and at times it does look rather, tempting if negativity picks up. Unless I'll just completely stick with pure gaming threads only outside the general. I gotta say, your avatar for some reason makes me happy, it's perfect for Christmas.

Because the forum doesn't bring them more money and it isn't strictly functional to Galaxy. I'm not sure what are we arguing about here.

We were talking about this 5 mins fix Alaric proposed, and nobody besides him believe will be done. VSR reasoned that they probably can't do that, since they are hiring programmers. No programmers = no fix.
Then I replied that maybe (and I stress, maybe) there's still someone at Gog who could take care of it, as long as Gog thinks it's worth the effort. That's all.

Maybe it is as you say, the current programmers simply haven't had the chance to get accustomed to the forum's code. I can't claim to have any inside knowledge of how things at Gog works. I don't care much either way, to be honest.

In the end though, the bottom line is that we both agree that Gog don't want to put enough effort on fixing their own forum. Do we really need to agree on how exactly they can't be arsed to do it? :P
