I've never said that Gog doesn't need to fix this. But they are already aware of it, they have always been aware of it. I just don't think this is going to make them deal with it any faster. Instead we have made the situation potentially many times worse and it's only going to hurt us; the users of this forum.

Because right now your the only one on the forum I think has the capability of doing what you say is being done.
I don't really think this is the case, because I'm fairly sure from the pattern of how your threads are deleted that it's not automated, but I think it's a question that deserves asking.

I don't think you or amok understand how that started. Tauto's posts didn't get deleted because of what he said, because people "didn't like them" or whatever. They got deleted because they were literally spam.
He would follow me (and others) across multiple threads posting the same YouTube link or word over and over and over again some 10-20 times in a row. That's when the spam-deletion thing for him started, not before then. He wasn't being "silenced" and his free speech wasn't being trodded on. I'd expect the same thing to happen to me if I posted "POTATO" and nothing else in every single thread, then proceeded to necromance threads with it.
The only person who had posts deleted was Tauto. And we all know why that was.

I have not deleted a single thread on this forum. Neither my own nor anyone else's.

But since I can't prove a negative, there will be people who'll claim otherwise.

As to the capability, I think you just might be more qualified than me.

Except those are with serious security flaws for companies that such a mistake could cost millions on, not a tiny little forum that a company has shown for 8 years to care nothing about.

Either you don't care about how the forum ends up, or you are truly blind to how GOG deals with things. I suspect it's a combination of both.

Well, I honestly don't see anything good happening from you sharing that list, but I can't do anything to stop you, so... please think it through before doing anything.

Even if it's really just a 5 minute fix as you say, the forum is a very low priority for Gog. They can reach tens of thousands more customers via social media. They might very well not do anything in these three months, and I agree with adalia, if the situation degenerates they'll probably opt to shut down the place for good rather than spend time and energy to fix it.

Nonsense, up until a couple of months ago I've had dozens of posts deleted and two threads.

They told me they have plans to fix it.

Yeah, and they told us they had plans to fix the rep system 2 years ago. That system's been abused to death and we haven't seen even the slightest fix yet.

I know that, once again, I'll never be able to convince you, but the day you release that script for others to use is when this forum shuts itself down.

Just to be clear: I agree with Alric's "my thread that gets deleted" spam campaign being justified, and not with his "share with everyone".

Yes, I don't know all the drama behind all this, but it is still my opinion, which i'm allowed to have, that I think the spam deleting needs to stop.

I think everyone probably has different definition of what spam is and that's part of the problem.
