I support trans rights and have 120 games from GOG, the first of which I bought back when it started in 2008. "not real gamers" is just a tired variation of the No True Scotsmen fallacy.

Characterizing criticism as a mob in the age of ubiquitous social media is a sleight of hand; by definition, all criticism will be from a lot of people aka a mob. The thing to ask is the criticism correct.

IMO, hijacking a hashtag about people's rights being removed - in the context of GOG previously using a phrase to belittle that same group - is at best immature. Maybe get an adult to supervise the edgelord in charge of the social media accounts.

That's, uh, completely backwards. Trans people attempt suicide (which is the rate you're citing, not the actual suicide rate) due to social rejection by family and friends; lack of access to medical treatment; work and housing discrimination, frequently leading to unemployment and homelessness; a substantially higher rate of being the victims of violence; and lack of legal rights. Against such a backdrop, anyone would experience mental health issues.

Meanwhile, studies have repeatedly shown that trans people who are able to receive timely treatment and are accepted by family and friends have mental health outcomes comparable to the general population, with family acceptance being the key factor.
