Well, I was patient, but in vain.
I added the giveaway creator on Steam according to your advice and he told me on 7th Jan that he has a game but it will be available to trade on 17th Jan, and I agreed to wait.
But yesterday at noon he first postponed it to "Tonight" and even then he didn't send me the game (and he was online until midnight) and today he wasn't online all day.
As the the SG is going under maintenance now I decided to mark the gift as "not received" as I really can't wait no more.
I leave up to you to decide this user's status within our Gift Club. I can't say that his intentions were bad at the start but I also can't say that he made an effort to resolve the situation.

Do you know that Steam put a 30 days lock on gift, right?
Maybe he had some problems related to that. I had one problem related to steam market in example, when I changed my PC, the limitation didn't lift when it needed, so I waited four additional hours and it unlocked. That could be the case.

No thats not right, they put a 30 day lock on TRADE, not gifting.
The person should be able to gift it, but he/she wouldnt be able to use the trade window.

The person should be able to gift it, but he/she wouldnt be able to use the trade window.

I didn't contact the support, nor clicked "report this giveaway" button.
As I said, I don't have the doubt that the region locked key is working, so this giveaway wasn't falsely created.
It's the "ok that didn't worked out as planned, let's fix it" part that failed.

As I said, I don't have the doubt that the region locked key is working, so this giveaway wasn't falsely created.
It's the "ok that didn't worked out as planned, let's fix it" part that failed.
we have to be a bit considerate here now , yes the key was legit but region locked for certain regions so i had asked you both to contact steam gifts support so that the giveaway winner can be re-rolled or the giveaway deleted altogether or he gets a punishment or something for not disclosing it was region limited key.
We have to understand that to expect him to buy off fallout new vegas again just like that too a brand new copy at full price when its not on sale anywhere to be a tall order.
now this is what we can do
1) wait till sg gets back online you both contact sg support regarding this and get it resolved
2) Wait till the giveaway creator to get another fallout copy and then mark as received
3) let the person off with a warning , he is not responding actively i sent him a pm on gog the day this incident happened and no response yet
4)hear from the gifter his story on what he plans to do ( have sent him another pm to respond here on the forum)
5) kick him off for poor response to the issue,mainly not posting a reason here in this thread as to why this happened.

I am open to all of those, i have sent him another pm to post in this thread

That's not right. I said that I had found someone who can trade his F:NV for TF key. So I bought this tf key but I had to wait one week to trade it for F:NV. He wasn't online on 17th Jan.
I've got the game yesterday and sent it at once.

Yep, I can confirm that I have just checked my mail, and the gift is sent to me and is now redeem and in my library.
I'll mark the game as received once SG is back up. *makes a calendar entry for 25th*
All this could be prevented if mefito1996/Nomaf gave more feedback both to me and you PMs.
Anyway, I guess all is well what ends well.
